You may wish to read the Comey letter again, as they most definitely did not say they "were pertinent". The exact phrases were "appear to be pertinent" and "cannot yet assess whether the material may or may not be significant", and as Comey and the rest of the FBI has not read them, he can't really know.

Worse case scenario, think about it: Work related emails including the 100 or so with classified information are found on Huma's computer because she used it when doing her job.

That's the same thing Comey said Clinton did for which no reasonable prosecutor would indict.

Not to mention Abedin's previous statement under oath that she turned over all the devices with State Department email.

Someone will have to remind me, was Abedin part of the group Comey granted immunity for absolutely nothing in return? If she didn't get it the first time around, or if it's subject to revocation for lying, she might have cause to be nervous. As with the prosecution of General Cartwright, it wouldn't surprise me if the FBI wanted to rehabilitate its image by showing what usually happens to people who mishandle classified information.
