Again we venture into conspiracy theory land where she's devious and conniving enough to "take care of everything" but not intelligent enough to actually follow through with it. In that there were hard drives, data backups, a cache of her emails, and so on. I mean, ****, this release doesn't even match up with any of the other timelines. Anyway, another "sky is falling" moment, only to be disregarded by the fact that Hillary will win the election, and Wikileaks still showing themselves to be the puppet of Russian intelligence.

Did you not read the following part where I blatantly stated I was being sarcastic? The entire post was dripping from it. Plus, this is your typical ad hom. Trying to insult my intelligence in order to disregard my statement? In your words, "come on".

I did notice you dodged the central premise of my post though, in that you're swan diving into conspiracy theory territory and seem to have no issue with it.

Not knowing who Neera Tanden is was "sarcasm"?

The Central theme appeared to be that you don't know the actual timeline and other associated nonsense.

Yes, pretend like I haven't been involved in this thread since day 1, and haven't participated in it the entire time. Imply that I don't know the timeline. You implied that there was a "cover up" where they thought the email thing was nice and tidied up. That's what you were pushing. I merely stated that doesn't make any sense since over a year later they were able to seize copious amounts of data with regards to her server. They even found a completely unknown about backup from Datto, that wasn't authorized or requested, and still agreed to turn it over without any issue. How does that fit at all with your current theory?

*For my question*, it's basically some variation of [not quite phrased right yet]: I know when I talk to my friends who are attorneys we are all struggling with what happened to the emails and aren't satisfied with answers to date. While we all know of the occasional use of personal email addresses for business, none of my friends circle can understand how it was viewed as ok/secure/appropriate to use a private server for secure documents AND why further Hillary took it upon herself to review them and delete documents without providing anyone outside her circle a chance to weigh in. It smacks of acting above the law and it smacks of the type of thing I've either gotten discovery sanctions for, fired people for, etc.

he comes at the issue slightly differnetly than what I've dsicussed with both of you (Ok, one thing to use personal email, but why the "twisted truth" (not my words) on why - with the two problematic areas being (a) emails to bill (when they were to bill's staff) and (b) i only used one device -- BB, when 2 weeks earlier, it was an iphone, BB and ipad.

The emails were in the wikileaks and i do not recall that the Doug band one the article is about being sent to her.

I was trying to quote him off the twitter but the attribution got screwed up. My bad
