Churchill and the UFO, bud nipping.

It is alleged that during WWII an RAF pilot saw a flying object which he was unable to identify.

Call me crazy, but I believe it. I myself have seen flying objects which I was unable to identify.

Really.

Wow, I thought we would have gotten a Harry Turtledove reference by now..
I thought about making one but meh. I've "West and East" waiting for me.

"Invasion Earth", BBC 1998, first episode. It's all there.
A disappointing series, it could have been so much better.

My Dad was a radio operator and photographer flying Liberators in India during WW2.

The most amazing thing he saw was his Group Captain take off in a Liberator only for all the engines to cut out after take off and he watched as the plane crashed into the jungle killing the crew.

In recounting that story, it was the only time I saw my Dad cry, and that includes having the emergency Vet out on Christmas Day to put our dog to sleep.

There is much that should be remembered from WW2, and a lot that many can't forget.

It hacks me off Cters wetting their pants over an alleged Government cover up of UFO's and those Holocaust deniers who are wasting perfectly good oxygen when there are real, proven stories of anguish, heroism, sacrifice and horror that they couldn't give a flying Icke for.

Come on Dad ain't you got any UFO stories.

I wonder if the daleks were involved

Who?
