Chavez Gains Power To Pass Laws By Decree

they had no direct vote on it, but the procedure was used before and he got reelected again and again. No referendum, was initiated to change that part of the constitution that makes that kind of governing constitutional in Venezuela. so obviously the majority of people of Venezuela think this a good way.

I disagree with that, i would not want a president to be that powerfull.

and for what is said he said while signing it? i don't know if he really said that. sounds a bit strange-

A bit sick you mean.

And your assumption and logic are flawed. I suggest you think on that argument again.

And we all know he will scrupolously obey those "limitations"...

he did so the last few time.
and every time many believe, this time he wil go all out dictatorship. end of Democracy, Dictator for life etc.

we will see.

when he does, the Venezuelans will kick him out of office.

What about his local "militia" type law? Wasnt that one of his decrees?

what exactly do you mean?

I am sure you know. The law a while back where he wanted to setup local "militia" type groups. The one he had to back down on. I am sure it was a decree. It certainly did not go before the govt.

Quite a dictator that backs down. Like i said, when he messes with the people they kick him out of office.

Ah, you remember now. Quite the idea that one eh? Local militia groups. Where have we seen that before?

i asked the USA? you said the US government created the Militia?
then the swiss came to mind with their militia.

I asked you for a source to your Govt sponsored militia that you said was in the USA. Still waiting.

Regardless it is another deflection attempt from the real issue. But you knew that. You are going to have your lightbulb moment about Chavez just like you did with trutherism. Sooner the better. Merry Xmas BTW amigo.
