So, in reality the decree power it is not what the people of Venezuela want, it is what he wants. Yes?

we will see, if he this time uses it for more than he said he will. or if it is like the last times, he uses it for what he said he would and after the time the limited decree power expires.

they had no direct vote on it, but the procedure was used before and he got reelected again and again. No referendum, was initiated to change that part of the constitution that makes that kind of governing constitutional in Venezuela. so obviously the majority of people of Venezuela think this a good way.

I disagree with that, i would not want a president to be that powerfull.

Except Chavez allies lost big time in the last election, and this was a lame-duck legislature that gave him dictator powers. This is Chavez saying "**** you, I'm going to get my way anyway" to the people.
