Charlie Sheen thinks Being Sober is boring.....

Well, being sober IS boring.

But being a drug addict alcoholic is dangerous to yourself and others.

I guess it depends on what you want more: "fun" or not dying.

Well, being sober IS boring.

Whilst this might be over-generalizing slightly, I'd say being sober per se is only boring if you have a drug problem. Yes, being drunk can be fun - "drinking" usually even isn't - but it is hardly the only fun there is. If you're sober and bored there is not only the solution to get drunk, is there?

I usually seem to manage fine with books, movies, conversations, the net, sport, games, ...

But being a drug addict alcoholic is dangerous to yourself and others.

Unfortunately for Sheen, he's managed to use his warlock powers to cast several DoTs on himself.

He'll need to be careful with the new patch out. While his haste got nerfed so he can't cast so quickly now, ISF has a shorter ICD, is easier to keep up and has a damage multiplier.

If he ever gets hold of a Darkmoon Volcano card, FSM help us all....

The funny thing is that he doesn't realize that TaaHM was the only thing saving his "career". He'd be soooo washed up and last decade if it wasn't for that show.

Ungrateful snot.

It's sad for the mentally ill this is being played out as just a wacky guy. He's in a classic manic phase. Notice he's starting to look more and more disheveled? There's a very good chance he is not sleeping which is classic in mania. This will go on until he crashes and that will greatly increase his risk for committing suicide.

If he's lucky he'll do something that warrants his being committed. And then he could get treatment. Trouble is manic patients don't think they need treatment. But they do and mania is life threatening.

I think the things he is saying would be hilarious if it were intentional, and I laugh like hell at them. But I can't shake the feeling that I'm laughing at the retarded kid in high school...yuck.

It's kind of like feeling humored, then pity.

Hah hah hah awww...
:big::(

I have no doubt that Sheen needs serious help. Although I do have to wonder... at this point, is he making any of his statements simply to "yank people's chains"? Perhaps he's taking his real life problems and has made a joke out of them by attempting to make statements that, even in his muddled state of mind must realize are silly. After all, as the saying goes, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

And any body who is a professional PR person will tell you what a crock of crap the "no such thing as bad publicity" is.

I have no doubt that Sheen is trying exploit his notoriety in some ways...like his constant use of the "winning" catch phrase that has become the biggest internet meme and puncline in ages....and last night's webcast has him clearly reading from a script or a teleprompt...but that does not change the fact he is batcrap crazy.

Charlie's lawsuit

in summary:

1: they are money sucking pigs that only want to make billions. This is bad.
2: they are cancelling the show, thus turning away the potential profit of billions. This is bad.

edit:
3: sheen was required to do multiple takes while filming. This is bad.

God, I knew this gonna be good when it start out with a personal attack on Chuck Lorre. Not exactly the correct form for a formal legal document.
Wanna make bets on how long it will take for this suit to be tossed out?

I just sent the link to our Great Goddess of Legaltainment....she will be greatly amused by it.

I'm not much of a celebrity watcher, and before this came down, I knew nothing about Charlie Sheen's personal life.

So I'm curious: did he just turn into his Two and Half Men character, or was that character written based on his life?

He's always been into porn stars (he had a relationship with Ginger Lynn when she was all the rage), he also made headlines when it was revealed he spent a small fortune on Heidi Fleiss's escorts and once "accidentally" shot then-fiance Kelly Preston in the arm. Oh, and was sued for hitting a girl in the back of the head for turning down his sexual advances (they settled out of court).

All of these happened at least 15 years ago.

You know, one of my favorite artists, David Brockie does this with his blog. The difference is, when he speaks of his hard drug use, and crappy actions, he knows they were crappy and destructive.

Sheen on the other hand, believes he is a " winner".

And now he's the official Fox News Intergalactic Correspondent, which is funny beyond words to anyone who's ever seen GWAR live or watched one of their movies. :D

It really is fun reading, though. How excited do you think "Roseanne Barr, Cybill Shepherd, and Brett Butler" are to be mentioned?

Another hilarious thing (to me at least) about the suit: Sheen is using as justification of his suit the fact that Warner Brothers was willing to make a deal with him last year despite his earlier bad behavior. I guess he's asserting that employers shouldn't give anyone second (and third and fourth and...) chances?

So his suit pretty much consists of "He's a big stinker who's making more money than me and I hate hate hate hate hate his smelly guts" .
God, it sounds as if it was written by Gollum, yes it does, my precious.......

I can't wait for the Lawyers and the Law Students who post here to comment on it.....
