Charles Manson (1934-2017)

Hopefully in a secret, unmarked location. We don't want any necromancers going around digging him up.
cant they just burn him and rake the ashes into the ground somewhere secret? (alternitively dump the ashes down a toilet or directly into a sewerage plant)

Why is such venom and bile reserved for this guy, when the perpetrator of your average mass shooting event is anonymous and forgotten by the time of the next one? Is it because he organised the killing of a celebrity?

Uncomfortable truth: Probably a mix of it involving a celebrity and the fact the fact that it happened in 1969, smack dab in the middle of the Baby Boomer formative years and any event that happened in the Baby Boomer formative years is apparently a major event in American history.

And the guy always cut a creepy promo.

They should make ol' Chucky do something useful for society, and pay it back.

Put his ashes in an hour-glass and sell it on eBay, with profits going to Red Cross.

I liked the Slayer stage prop idea. "Dude, they got Manson upside down on a cross!!!"

I bet he would've wanted to be buried beside Sharon Tate.

I'd have him cremated, his ashes mixed with paint, and his cell repainted with said paint.

I wonder how many of those assorted jerks who looked up to him will come out of the woodwork now? I remember articles with people who were born after his incarceration were saying he was beyond good and evil. Sad, stupid bastards.

Ironically enough Manson kicked the bucket on the same day that it was announced that SONY had grabed Quintin Tarantino's film project on Manson (which QT was marketing around after the collapse of the Weinstein dynasty).

From what I gather, he's since come out and claimed that Manson isn't the theme of the movie, or something along those lines, and that the story just serves as the backdrop...whatever that means. I guess we'll find out.

Apparently without heirs to make the call, the State of California has to decide if he will be buried or cremated.
Supposedly he has one grandson, who has indicated he is interested in giving him a proper burial.

If he doesn't, he may end up cremated, and his remains stored in a common vault in Union cemetary.

Charles Manson’s grandson said Monday he regrets never meeting his reviled relative in the flesh — and hopes it's not too late to claim his remains. “I’m going to move towards having a proper burial,” Jason Freeman, 41, told the Daily News by phone...
...
(if unclaimed) Manson would likely be sent to Union Cemetery in Bakersfield for cremation. His ashes would then fit into a container about half the size of a shoebox. According to the Kern County Coroner's website, unclaimed remains are interred at Union Cemetery. A Bakersfield Californian report from 2010 said Kern County's unclaimed remains were stacked unceremoniously inside a group vault at Union Cemetery.

If no one claims him, he'll likely end up buried in the prison graveyard.
