Charles in Cloud Cuckoo Land again

No, he's no great shakes intellectually but he makes up for it with noise level. I'd love to know if he's read a science book in his life.
Steady on, hoss. That there's a FRS you're talking 'bout.

I don't know if anyone remembers the UK puppet show `Spitting Image', but there was a marvellous sketch of the Queen singing a spoof of Gloria Gaynor's `I will survive'. My favourite line is:

"As long as Charles is next in line I have to stay alive - I will survive."

Truly must-see TV in its heyday.

Wanna know what the Welsh think of their Prince? Not a lot, that's what. They loved Diana, though, and she loved the Welsh. They had a shared experience.

Good piece by Nick Cohen in todays Absurder/comment-is-twee:

Last week, he surpassed the Bourbons. Marie Antoinette never said: 'Let them eat cake' to the poor of her day, but Prince Charles was adamant that today's poor should eat organic. Despite all I have read by him over the years, it was still a shock to listen to the recording of the interview he gave the Daily Telegraph. This raging man, who searched for apocalyptic predictions of catastrophe, was not a street preacher at Hyde Park Corner, but our next head of state.
