A military exercise would have more personnel available for duty; if you want to attack the military do not do it when they have an exercise; it would be like robbing a police bar. I have been over Vmo; plane was smooth, fast, and would go much faster; I was catching the SR-71 at 70 feet MSL. I caught the co-pilots hand in the throttles when I slapped them to Idle as I noticed we were past Vmo and did not want to damage the leading edge skin.

Flight 11 was not over dive speed; you said 493, the speed of 11 was 470, 7 mph below VD; you posted a speed only 16 mph faster than VD. VD is 420 KCAS, or .91 MACH above 23,000 feet; inbetween you need math to figure out the speed from 17,854 to 23,000 feet, so don't ask Balsamo and his p4t failed pilot association for help. 420 KCAS is about 477 mph. BTW, there is no Vne listed in the FAA certification limits for a 767 or a 757. oops
There is no limit defined for when a 767 will not fly; pilots try not to exceed Vmo. If a pilot exceeds Vmo he will be caught, and he may not fly fly again; the FDR records the speed.

The 250 KIAS airspeed below 10,000 feet is a FAA rule. The glass on the cockpit is subject to birdstrikes well past 10,000 feet. Bird can fly above 10,000 feet; what is the limit at 11,000 for the aircraft? Birds can be at 25,000 feet. So? Exceeding Vmo in a 757/767 is not going to stop the plane as seen on 911. Flight 175 was going 590 mph at impact, the reason it damage 10 core columns; it is a kinetic energy event; the WTC was designed to sustain and repel aircraft slower than 200 mph. No, I was thinking the top speed may/could be limited (in level flight) by the engine performace at high speed. I have flown in a jet aircraft faster than 600 mph at 1000 feet and we were not at full throttle. Hani was accelerating past 549 mph with his engines at full throttle in a decent at impact. There is no reason to be going full throttle at 500 mph at 1000 feet in an airliner above Vmo unless you are a terrorist, or evading intercept, but then you would want to fly close to a manuvering speed in the 270 to 300 KIAS range, using the throttles to help you keep your speed as you load up the aircraft to jink.

The FDR decode by p4t experts was made using stolen proprietary software. They failed to line up the data and are missing a second more than the NTSB. But all the data decodes sets from the raw data match; because the data is from the same FDR. Add programming and FDRs to your list of not knowing Jack about.

There is one raw file. Anyone can take a hack at decoding it; the one raw file always had the "missing seconds", only the decoded files lacked a complete decode. The raw file had over 24 hours of flights from the airframe for Flt 77; oops, means it is the real FDR information verified by thousands of data point.
