Callahan clearly states how he intends to come by this money: as a result of testing with the JREF. I have repeatedly pointed out to him that there is only one way to be tested. He has said that's "not his style."

Since he does not intend to apply for the MDC, his statement is a blatant lie. What's hard to understand about that?

If he makes a million dollars in advertising/sponsorship/subscription revenue as a result of his interaction with the MDC -- whether it be pass, fail, fail and wind up gallons of excuses, or submit an application and never agree on a protocol... then his statement would be true.
 
Any word form the secret service yet Jim? Wether they will be prosecuting Randi for counterfeit?

People are beginning to inquire about REFUNDS!
They claim they have been ripped off by DragonCon.
DragonCon has as of yet refused to give any refunds claiming that the JREF MDC group DID give the Million Dollar Challenge as they'd stated.

Call Linda and ask for yourself!!!!!

So this will be the JREF calling the DragonCon LIARS while the DragonCon folks have video proof that they aren't!

You just can't come out making a claim like that here, with me around. I am one of the Directors for Dragon*Con, and am the Director for the Skeptic Track. I get almost daily reports of peoples reactions and complaints from Sr. Directors who run the convention.

I've seen TONS of reports, and every, single, one, of them have been NOTHING but people saying they had an AMAZING time and thought that all the skeptic track content was some of the best stuff they have seen at Dragon*Con in a long time.

Not one mention of refunds or any such. In fact, I've seen more than a few bits of feedback about the MDC demonstration. The only 'negative' feedback I have seen is only about that headache shill who stood up and was attempting to claim that the JREF was 'supposed' to do a MDC on stage, which they never claimed they would. They WOULD have if any of the people they contacted who claim have powers to do it on stage, but none would accept that. So, they had to show people how it really worked.

So, nope, your claim that people want refunds is... ummm... FALSE... you lose, try again.

Oh, now, I bet, you'll call a friend and have them ask for one so you can make another Michael Moore, Loose Change, BS, You Tube video and feel all self important.

There's a difference between a lie and a statement based on a lack of information. The statements by Randi at DragonCon are based on a lack of information; not a lie.

A lie is a willful untruth; saying something that one knows to not be correct. That's not what we saw on the stage at DragonCon, but something we're seeing here in this forum from David.

It would be easier to be taken seriously if you would say what you mean directly without hinting around the edges. Or would saying what you mean directly be too close to something actionable in a civil suit?
