Even with a Nobel Prize, his search for a "soul" seemed to be a dead end. (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was convinced of "fairies" and "magic". Does that make Sherlock Holmes a less compelling figure?)

Do you realise that according to his wikipedia entry he described himself as a skeptic and an agnostic with "a strong inclination towards atheism" and that Mark Steyn characterized Crick as a militant atheist?

So no religeous/mystical backup from Crick, anything else?

He's definitely an Aussie, and has the same style of lots of claims, none of evidence. The "resonance" factor is stupid enough to be a brother to "shamathy" and the weird "pyramidology" that dargo and his buddies were into.

Well, buzz, that was a fun bit of philosophical postulation, but it did not even come close to answering my question. I guess, in order to properly approach it, I will have to back up and ask a different question, which is:

Have you ever "put a rent in the fabric of space / time," or been present when someone else did so?

Get you be a bit more specific on just how Randi should go after the Pope, the President, the Archbishop of Canterbury, et al?

Because it seems to me, that if Randi did such thing then JREF would loose its status as an education organization as well as face serious legal trouble.

So if this is the case it needs an opposing force to exist .

As for the soul . For the time being we will call this X in our equation , an unknown . The jury is still out .

From the geological records there seems to be a fluctuation in the number of species on earth corresponding to the strength of the magnetic field . Well that's what I read in the books !

The solar wind ;......... look it up in the Wikipedia .

And a question ; Do you know what this is ; 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34........

And "Gr8wight" , I have poked a hole in the " space/time" thing many times , mostly by myself , but twice with someone else .
No two experiments produced the same results but an underlying theme became apparent . It required a combination of timing ,sound , position , and an artificial induction of a death like condition . For this I usually tried to drop my body temprature a degree or two to the early stages of hyperthermia .

What kind of measures did you take to ensure it wasn't just your imagination, a delusion or a hallucination?
 
Howdy "GzuzKryzt" , I know you guys have me pegged as an illiterate moron , but believe it or not I can read .
The last time that I checked, the powers-to-be reckoned that the solar wind is a plasma of positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons and other assorted crap flailing out from the sun . So I will take them at their word .

To ensure that what I experienced wasn't a delusion I took along another person who assisted in the experiment . At the end of the day we compared notes . There were differences but there were enough similarities to conclude that it wasn't an illusion .

Which at this point leads to me assume you do not have very much interesting stuff to say, because otherwise you already would have.
 
"Terry" as far as I know energy is vibration .
Vibration in expressed as the oscillation between two polarities .

As for the Fibonacci , was just checking to see if " Cuddles" is a blonde .
