Buzz lightyear and the JREF Challenge

It is a bit like that isn't it Athiest .
But don't be to hard on them, they are catching on slowly .

Yes, it does surprise me that people are still trying to talk sense to you. I realised that was futile on about page 1.

I see that you are running your own "challenge", for two million bucks .
You had better hope no one wins it or good old N.Z. will go broke .

Like Ladbroke's taking bets on the day of judgement, it's money in the bank, mate.

I mean, have a look at the competition, buzz:

Buzzlightbeer. Harmless, if silly troll, making up fairytales as he goes along, sticking to local Abo legend. (N.B. I voted you as the most entertaining)

Edge. A fundamental christian dowser. He makes you look sane, mate.

Ali someone. Outright nutcase.

Pro7 with the split fuel line never needing to fill his tank. Having your cake and eating it, I believe it's known as. Even Ug back in 300,000BC knew that was crap, although I believe it was mammoth steaks rather than cake.

Dargo. Your fellow Aussie. A childish little wanker who can't even pretend to be any good at "shamathy", emphasis on the "sham". Won't even pretend to do it. You should have a go at being Dargo, you'd be much better than he is.

Peace Crusader. Gets visited by "spirits". One would presume overproof ones.

Since you seem to be coppying Randi, do we have to call you "The Amazing Athiest" .

No.

And is it true that you were cloned from one of Randi's toe nails back in the 50s ? This would explain many things .

Nah. I'm taller than him by miles. Did you ever explain your rather odd punctuation? You know, the gaps between the words and the , or . or ?

OK ,Hokulele .
The bats wing was to show the general shape of the wing .
In reality the serpents wing was more like the fin of a fish .
With its wings fully extended it would have looked like a giant butterfly .
Probably a dozen fingers with membrane between them .

At a guess I would say that there is no serpent myths in Hawiian culture because there in no sandstone on the Islands .............. ?
You mentioned Jackagirl should wonder why Japan has many pictures/legends about dragons and even included a picture of a dragon. Funny how your description doesn't match your picture.

BTW: have you ever applied Occam's Razor to your thoughts?

My understanding of the creatures anatomy comes from studying these " body cases" , Belz .
And so far I have found no evidence of any limbs other than a pair of
wings .

That's okay, though, because you haven't found any other evidence for anything else.

That dragons egg case just happens to be what you would call a "cave" . And it sits near the top of a mountain in the boonies .

There's a good reason why we call it a cave, Buzz.

If I went out with pick and shovel and chopped a hole into a cliff face, it could be refered to as a "cave", Belz .

Get my drift ?

If you went out with a claim and provided some valid evidence to back up said claim to chop down doubts and questions, it could be referred to as "credibility", buzz.

Get my drift?

Hey, The Atheist: Pro7 just disintegrated and pulled a buzz lightyear on us. Pout, pout, pout!

Shall I fire up ye olde epilogue counter?

:dl:

Damn, he didn't last long!

I see he's pulled his account, going by the "guest" status, but his last post which threatens legal action against JREF, might ensure the death of his posting.

Meanwhile, I found one for Buzz. He could be just the man they need!

Looks like a perfect match to me!

fingers.jpg

Exactly, Belz, ......I'm drifting with you .

And if this critter created a "cave" it would bear its finger marks, as in the attatched pic of the ceiling of one of these "caves".

So tell me Buzz. What flying creatures grasp things with their wings? Certainly not bats. Not birds either. I'm unaware of any insects that do this. Wings are no good at grasping. You probably feel a kinship with them.

By the way, those indentations are from water. That used to be the high-water mark, and the wave action simply eroded into the sandstone over time.

I was just re-reading "at the mountains of madness" by HPL & could not help but notice similarities between buzz's imaginary critter & the elder race, down to the wierd tracks & fins/wings. Just thought I'd point this out...
