But Why Was Obama Against The War

..world net daily. I'm not going to read it, can you summarize it's points?
I agree that WND is not the most objective site but I see articles from the Nation, Solon and many other partisan sites on the left posted here all the time.

You stole my line......

If I catch you doing the same thing when someone posts a Washington Times link I'll accept it as an homage.

Didn't we have someone else who's OPs generally contained a link and nothing but "Interesting"? Is BAC a sock?
BAC probably posts more sources than anyone on this forum. Are you trying to get him banned as a "sock"?

This is an understatement and a half. While there's plenty of whacked-out political web sites, WND may be the worst. 200 proof insanity. They make the WA Times seem legit.

Today's WND banner: "15 reasons to take Genesis and Revelation as History"

It doesn't take a lot of research to see that WND / founder Joseph Farah is crazier than crazy. You can pretty much depend on the home page any day of the week. Let's take a look in sequence:

  • Banner: 15 reasons to take Genesis and Revelation as History
  • Breaking news: Bible citation costs couple job, homes
  • Ad: Blood sugar shocker. Free report reveals how to balance blood sugar naturally.
  • Breaking news: Board votes to fire 'cross branding' teacher
  • WorldNetDaily Exclusive: Judge blasts state ban on distributing Bibles to students
    [two more persecuted Christian stories]
  • DEAL OF THE DAY: How Bible was banned, forbidden, burned – $4.95 today! Amazing but little-known history of best-selling book of all time.
  • WorldNetDaily Exclusive: Miraculous! Bible on video now at 1/4 previous price
Etc, etc, etc. Fundamentalist blather intermingled with relentless pitching of woo products.

And this is the type of drivel that is (constantly) cited on a forum for critical thinkers. It boggles the mind.

Worldnetdaily...come on.

Yes there are right wing, and left wing magz out there, and we know them well, but WND is just ****ing out there, regardless of political agenda.

TAM:)

Today's commentary concerning tensions between Israel and Iran:
WND said:
'Last days' are imminent
I believe that the prophetic "last days" are rapidly approaching. As Christians, we are instructed to be about the works of the Father while there is still time

Wow, idiot conservatives being idiots.

The OP is the same type of person who regards the American Spectator and the Weekly Standard as the pinnacle of unbiased, fair journalism. and who probably cried when Rev. Falwell died.

In other news, the sky is not green.

I agree mostly, but Salon? The first time somebody pointed me toward Salon, it was to reinforce their right-of-center point. I've since realized that they are left-of-center, but not very far left. They certainly can't be classified with The Nation or WND. For one thing, they have a sense of humor.

What's the articles point?
The only thing I see are many assertions that the speech was a carefully crafted poltical tool...duh.
What political speech isn't.
