What exactly is this? I've seen a lot of right-wingers here use the term, and it seems to me like a poor attempt at whitewashing the Bush administration's..."shortcomings."

Go to the source.
Ah, so it's the imagination of a right-wing media hack. Got it.
I'm from Florida, was here when the election was stolen and saw the things going on in my neighborhood (excessive police activity at/near two polling locations).
It's used to refer to those that are a bit ... overzealous ... when it comes to condemning Bush's shortcomings.
Bush was a bad President, you'll get no argument about that from me, but some people carry an unfounded amount of hate and cannot be reasoned with.

No it wasn't. I'm so sick of hearing that stupid bs.
I was in Florida too, the "stole the election" ct is just as dumb as 9/11 ct.
He won. Get over it.
You certainly exhibit all the signs of BDS. Referring to Charles Krauthammer as a "right wing hack" means you are well into the tertiary stage.
I actually think that Krauthammer is one of the more reasonable conservative commentators I've run into over the years - I put him in the company of folks like George Will. I often disagree with their views, but for the most part I do respect them; and every so often one of them says something that gives me food for thought.

.The crowd packed on the west side of the Capitol grounds serenaded President Bush in mocking fashion when he took to the inaugural stage alongside Vice President Dick Cheney.
"Nah nah nah nah, hey hey, good-bye," a section of the crowd chanted.
The crowd packed immediately below the podium received Bush in stony silence when he took his seat on the stage surrounding the podium where Barack Obama was scheduled to take the oath office to become the 44th president of the United States.
The jeers are among the final public feedback Bush will receive as president
WASHINGTON -- It's not a good week to be a Republican here -- never mind being part of the 33 percent who approve of the job President George W. Bush has done -- one of the lowest approval ratings for any president.
But no matter how hard it is, it was not nearly as bad as being an inflatable President Bush on Dupont Circle on Monday.
For six hours, a giant Bush with a "Pinocchio" nose was the target of thousands of shoes as people in town for the inauguration took turns throwing loafers, sneakers and boots at the likeness of the president.
The protest, organized by arrestbush2009.com, drew crowds all day, re-enacting the scene last month when Iraqi journalist Muntadhar Al-Zeidi threw his shoes at the president's head during a news conference in Baghdad.
"It's cheaper than a shrink and it gets out a lot of frustration," said organizer Jose J. Rodriguez, whose group wants Bush arrested for crimes related to the invasion of Iraq.
Now that is a fair appraisal. Had Allen773 referred to Rush, Hannity, or Praeger as "right wing hacks," he may have kept his BDS under wraps, but labeling Krauthammer as such is as good as being certified by Bellevue.
