Bumper sticker. . .(shudder)

Prove it. Prove to me that everyone that believes that Jesus walked this earth many years ago, 'also' believe that he was the Son of God. Right of the top of my head I can think of a major, major religion that agrees with me.
Its called faith.

Blind faith is not good for anyone. And people who go to church believe that Jesus is the son of god. The main words here is GO TO CHURCH.

Physical evidence of what? Just because they 'saw' Jesus, the son of Mary, does not mean they 'saw' God.
Hold on a second there. You just stated that Jesus was not God. Are you sure you want to make that type of pronouncement?

You’re trying to have it both ways, either it was physical, with all accompanying evidence, or it was not physical. You have declared both yet when ask for one you declare it the other. Me thinks thou are being a tad dishonest.

Like I said, many people believe that Jesus walked the earth, yet some do not believe that he was/is the Son of God. The latter requires faith.

If those people had physical evidence right before their eyes, why did so many of them reject him? Could it possibly be that the physical evidence you're talking about, did not exist?
So no miracles, no abolishing Jewish laws & traditions, no walking on water, no healing the sick, no cursing a tree, no rising from the dead, no prophecies, no reaffirming Jewish laws & traditions, no water to wine, none of that. So Jesus was just a guy that wandered around a bit, tried to lead a Jewish uprising, got caught and executed.

By churches I was referring to most declared Christian churches. Generally Gnostics don’t believe Jesus walked the earth at all. Since you made the assertion, it is up to you to provide evidence supporting your position.

Off the top of my head, the Mormons are the only large sect that do not believe Jesus was/is god. However, if you want to open it up a bit, Islam believe that Jesus walked he earth but wasn’t the son of god.

How do you receive that spiritual understanding?
Its called faith.
Ok, spiritual understanding is called faith, now how about answering the question. How does one go about receiving that faith? Or is this one of those Christian mysteries where you only receive spiritual understanding if you already have faith. Which is basically stating that you receive faith if you have faith.

There is no god, so Jesus can not be the son of a god.

Walk in water, why where all this things only written about many years after the fact, sound like good PR.

Hold on a second there. You just stated that Jesus was not God. Are you sure you want to make that type of pronouncement?

You don't get it, do you?

I said just because they saw Jesus, would not mean to them they saw God, as they do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is part of the Holy Trinity.

You’re trying to have it both ways, either it was physical, with all accompanying evidence, or it was not physical. You have declared both yet when ask for one you declare it the other. Me thinks thou are being a tad dishonest.

The belief aspect is not physical. It requires faith.

And that means what?

Satan also has the power to do all sorts of crazy things, if you believe Jesus had that 'same' power. Certainly doesn't show physical evidence that "God" exists.

By churches I was referring to most declared Christian churches. Generally Gnostics don’t believe Jesus walked the earth at all. Since you made the assertion, it is up to you to provide evidence supporting your position.

I said I believe it, and it requires faith. Gee whiz.

Off the top of my head, the Mormons are the only large sect that do not believe Jesus was/is god. However, if you want to open it up a bit, Islam believe that Jesus walked he earth but wasn’t the son of god.

The Jewish religion doesn't believe it either, and as you said, neither does Islam.

Ok, spiritual understanding is called faith, now how about answering the question. How does one go about receiving that faith? Or is this one of those Christian mysteries where you only receive spiritual understanding if you already have faith. Which is basically stating that you receive faith if you have faith.

How should I know? You're looking for an answer I cannot provide.

You want answers? Go read the Bible. That is the best answer I can give to the question you are asking.

Ahem, I also included the miraculous bits.

The belief aspect is not physical. It requires faith.
And the dead getting up and walking about, what does that require? Or is that another one of those, it’s not literal bits but all the parts around it are?

And that means what?

The goal post needs to remain stationary. You still have to explain the lack of physical evidence including all the reported miracles.
Either there was physical evidence or there was not. Jesus just walking about would at least be some evidence.

Does it really mattered who performed miracles as long as they were evidence of supernatural activity?

Yes but you also said

Which squarely puts Jesus on the physical side of the equation.

All that and you boil it down to you believe because you believe. How moronic.

You want answers? Go read the Bible. That is the best answer I can give to the question you are asking.
I have read the bible a couple of times. No answers there.

Require? You do realize that according to the Bible, many people that saw Jesus preform those miracles, still did not believe he was God?

The goal post needs to remain stationary. You still have to explain the lack of physical evidence including all the reported miracles.

Physical evidence doesn't exist for a lot of things.....does that mean you don't believe any of them?

Either there was physical evidence or there was not. Jesus just walking about would at least be some evidence.

Indeed there would.

Seems strange that they haven't found it yet.....

Yes but you also said
Which squarely puts Jesus on the physical side of the equation.

The idea that he is also the Son of God, is then spiritual.

All that and you boil it down to you believe because you believe. How moronic.

Nice of you to call the belief of another person moronic.

{21:7} And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
{21:8} If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
{21:9} And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
{21:10} If he take him another [wife;] her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
{21:11} And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

True, true.

No it's not. You don't have to be in church to get saved. I was at home when Jesus saved me and all I needed to do was realize everything we are told in scripture is truth and start agreeing with God, even when it hurts sometimes.

Seeing our sins on that cross isn't easy, but it is needed if one wants to be saved. Jesus died to save us, why argue about it?

What sins, can't your god get anything right, just makes one mistake after another.
