And this revolution involves? The political reforms are?

Actually, I'm glad you asked!

"These Are the 6 Bold Ideas Fueling Bernie Sanders' 'Political Revolution'"
http://mic.com/articles/119860/these-are-the-bold-policy-ideas-driving-bernie-sanders-campaign
(excerpted from above link:
"He Won't Win, So Why Is Bernie Sanders Running?" asked Newsweek. Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer went so far as to say that "Kim Kardashian has a better shot at winning the presidency than Bernie Sanders."...
This tendency to dismiss candidates like Sanders is a good example of pundits equating unusual ideas with bad ones. It's particularly unfortunate given that Sanders, a self-described "democratic socialist," has been exceptionally substantive early on in his campaign about what kind of policies he would pursue if elected. And there's good bit of evidence that these policies appeal to many Americans, as exotic as some of them may seem to the beltway commentariat...

1. Fighting economic inequality
Higher taxes on the wealthy:...
Raising the minimum wage:...
Breaking up the big banks:...
2. Worker rights
Guaranteed sick leave and vacation:...
Reducing unemployment:...
Expanding Social Security:...
3. Transforming education
Free public college:..
Relief for struggling borrowers:...
Universal pre-K:...
4. Getting money out of politics
Campaign finance reform:...
5. Revolutionizing health care
Single-payer health care:...
6. Climate change
Carbon tax: ...

Sounds both revolutionary and fantastic, of course campaign promises are notoriously easy to make and hard to fulfill, but it is definitely a plan I can support from top to bottom without hesitation.

He's going to be our next President. Enjoy it!

I'll enjoy watching all those Sanders supporters going to the polls and pulling the lever for Clinton. Sanders is going to give a speech about how "we fought the good fight" and "we helped to put the issues on the table" but "now we have to unify against the Republicans and vote for the nominee". The Pied Piper will play his followers right into the Clinton camp. It's hard to see how it could go any other way. What's sad is that apparently nobody learned this lesson when Kucinich did the same thing in 2004.

That source expands on that point with:

Sanders has called for a massive federal jobs program devoted to modernizing the country's infrastructure. In January, he authored a bill that would invest $1 trillion in renovating infrastructure over the course of five years that he estimates would create 13 million jobs.

That bill: http://www.sanders.senate.gov/newsr...mbling-infrastructure-support-13-million-jobs

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) today introduced far-reaching legislation to rebuild America’s crumbling network of roads, bridges and transit systems and other infrastructure projects. The five-year plan would invest $1 trillion and create or maintain at least 13 million decent-paying jobs, said Sanders, the Senate Budget Committee ranking member.

The legislation is co-sponsored by Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), the ranking member of the appropriations committee, and it is backed by the American Society of Civil Engineers, the AFL-CIO and others.

“For too many years, we’ve underfunded our nation’s physical infrastructure. We have to change that and that’s what the Rebuild America Act is all about. We must modernize our infrastructure and create millions of new jobs that will put people back to work and help the economy,” Sanders said.

“My legislation puts 13 million people to work repairing the backlog of infrastructure projects all across this country. These projects require equipment, supplies and services, and the hard-earned salaries from these jobs will be spent in countless restaurants, shops and other local businesses. It’s no surprise that groups across the political spectrum – from organized labor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – agree that investing in infrastructure will pay dividends for future generations.”

Sanders’ bill makes targeted investments in roads, bridges, transit, passenger and freight rail, water infrastructure, marine ports and inland waterways, national parks, broadband and the electric grid. A short summary of the bill can be found here and the text of the bill itself is here.

What you say might be true but the comparison falls flat. Depending on the Republican nominee Clinton may well need a strong turnout from Bernie's ground support. We shall see if she inspires them, I tend to think not. Kucinich never broke 5% in polling for the nomination, thus never had the chance to speak to his constituency on a national level. He was given the graveyard shift for his speech at the convention so nobody got to hear him. And if I recall correctly it was hardly a ringing endorsement for Obama that he provided.

Of course it's DOA. Republicans have no interest in anything that doesn't directly provide more wealth to the 1%. Republicans are so ignorant and consumed with kissing the ass of the rich they fail to realize that providing people jobs will also create wealth.

And spoil the joke?
