British Intelligence: Mossad carried out 9/11

Wait a minute. Active intelligence agents leak something this big to an old coot who may no longer be in his right mind due to illness or dementia (for what reason, I might also ask) and they still maintain such tight security around the operation that no other confirmation gets out? Nobody else gets wind of where the evidence is?

Damned challenging concept for this old soldier to grasp.
