Unlikely sure, but if Labour takes a survivable Brexit stance it might work.
The trouble with this is that the two biggest blocs within the party, the majority of the unions and Momentum are staunchly pro-Brexit so I don't see where the impetus for any such change would come from, and it would need Jeremy Corbyn to be deposed as leader, not something any party would wish in the weeks leading up to a general election. Add onto this the MPs who fear (wrongly IMO) that taking a Bremain stance will case them to lose in their Leave-voting constituencies and IMO it becomes vanishingly remote.
You're right that IF Labour had a decent Brexit policy, then things would be quite different but I cannot see how the Labour Party gets from here to there.
