Breaking news! Truther Ignored by Senator!

The plane's behavior is consistent with someone who was on a general heading looking for his target, realized he'd overshot it by the time he spotted it, and circled back for it.

Either that or a sooper seekrit team of black ops remote control operators trying to avoid Rumsfeld's office.

I think we can all see which one Occam's Razor favors... Remote control, obviously! Oh wait, no.

tempesta29, what is your theory as to why the Pentagon was hit the way it was, ie the 'downward spiral'? Why was a difficult maneuver incorporated into the plan?

Tempesta doesn't ever offer any ideas about how or why it was actually done.
He just insists it was, despite the real world saying it wasn't and showing over and over not only what was done, but how it was done and why.
As I said earlier, insane. Possibly not malicious, but definitely insane.

Speculation.

Nonsense. A 757 flown at high speeds while turning is not easy to control. There is nothing speculative about that. A 757 flown in an "unsafe manner" is not easy to control.

Because why exactly? Because he couldn't understand english well enough, and because takeoff and landings were not his strong suit.

"I'm still to this day amazed that he could have flown into the Pentagon," the former employee said. "He could not fly at all."

That was a quote from just one of his instructors. That was a Cessna. But now he's making extreme descending turns and planning contingencies and preparing strafing runs in a 757 which he's never flown in his life.

Well, it matches your posts, so I guess we're even.

Yeah, "he liked that side"? That's why he performed the maneuver he did and decided to hit the Pentagon at it's most difficult angle? His attraction to western faces of short buildings?

it was alllllll part of the NWO plan!!!!

Particularly one that's nosediving.

The most difficult angle would be perpendicular to the ground. The easiest is parallel.

Not it isn't. First, how in the hell do you miss the Pentagon? There are some of the most famous and distinguishing landmarks to tell you where it is in the event that you don't already know exactly where it is anyway (these guys.. planned right?).

Second, there is nothing logical about descending after you pass it anyway. Turning while descending means he had faith that when he came out of that turn that he was going to be aiming directly at this target, which, at that point, was very small because the Pentagon is not tall. Once you start descending as low as he was there is the possibility you may not be able to pull back up. Why descend at all if he over shot it?

There is no logic in descending to a few meters off the ground once he overshot it because there is a very good chance you'll simply hit the ground, particularly if you are a "terrible pilot" such as Hanjour who has zero experience in that aircraft.

So much inconsistency. First I hear how these guys just aimed the planes. Now I'm being told how logical this rapid descending turn maneuver is. This guy was the worst pilot of the bunch.

Any plane flown in an unsafe manner is not easy to control. Note that 'not easy' does not mean impossible.
The former employee is amazed. Here's a riposte I usually avoid, but you leave no choice: so?
How many extreme descending turns were made? (good to see you have at least abandoned the ludicrous lie about spirals: I guess you acknowledge that some of your claims, at least, are demonstrably false)
How many strafing runs?

Now, why did your robot perform the manoeuvre you think is unbelievable?

Of course, it's probably to do with the Masonic symbolism attached to 'West Sides'. Maybe the ritual wouldn't have worked if any other side was hit.

It's consistent with a novice pilot who was just trying to aim his plane at his target.

Or an expert remote control operator who executed his maneuver flawlessly. Oh no, wait...

I'm trying to figure out what the deal with claiming the hijackers weren't good enough to pilot the planes. What does it mean? Were they flown by remote control? Where there expert pilots in place of the hijackers who were prepared to commit suicide?

That's deep. You should write fortune cookies for redundant Chinese restaurants.

Hanjour went out of his way to fly in an extreme manner so he could level out very low, risking crashing into the ground so he could hit a low profile part of the Pentagon? The Pentagon is massive from above. What sense is there in turning and descending like he did to hit the building from the side? Argh. There I go asking logical questions again. Sorry.

I thought it was because they... "rolled" on the hijackers.

This is an easy one. He aimed for the side because it's easier then diving down on top.

Any bets he wouldn't understand why?

So what, tempesta29, Are you not ready to have you ass handed to you one more time? So....why do you think it would be easier to dive in than hit a wall at level flight? Want to play?

Why are you wrong on all things 911? Are you a pilot?

Kids without flight training could fly as good as or better than the terrorists on 911. The terrorists were so unsure, they got trained! Making up false statements like you do prove you lack knowledge and are easy to fool.

Please show a manuver on 911 that was hard to do. Inclued bank angle, pitch angles, and vertical acceleration.

Flight 11 was level flight, something the plane does all by itself.
Flight 175, a slight bank and descending into the WTC, no flying skill required.
Flight 77, the terrorist pilot has the "largest target" (wide) on 911, he was flying so bad but he still hit it! He was in constant PIO for the last 30 seconds, it was horrible, he almost hit the road where he knocked down the lampposts. Up to the final 20 seconds, Hanni had not done anything a pilot on a first flight could not do without training, and then he proved it.
Flight 93, it takes no skill at all to fly a plane erratically and then hit the ground; the earth is the biggest target on earth! Easy to hit! I know of no pilots, trained or not trained who can't hit mother earth without trying.

"I'm still to this day amazed that he could have flown into the Pentagon," the former employee said. "He could not fly at all."
Crashing into the Pentagon is not flying, it is crashing! He was right, your conclusion is wrong. Saying a pilot, the terrorist pilots were pilots, can' fly is like saying a trained driver can't drive; an exaggeration based on an opinion. Do you call crashing into the Pentagon flying? It is terrorism. You almost got something right, but not.

It is harder to fly a Cessna single engine plane than a 767/757. I have flown both large jets and small prop planes; would rather fly a 767/757. I would not be surprised if the terrorists picked the 767/757 since they were very easy to hand fly.

You are telling lies, there were no extreme descending turns, and it was not a strafing run, it was point and aim. You are wrong on this point, failure is the best you can do.

There are no difficult angles to hit the Pentagon, it is one of the largest office buildings in the world. What are you talking about? You have no clue.

I really hope you're kidding. Once again, one of Hanjour's flight instructors said he couldn't believe he was able to hit the Pentagon, yet you're claiming a child without flight training could do it. What a joke.

It's an exaggeration based on an opinion of someone who saw him fly. He was so bad at flying that it led that instructor to say he couldn't fly at all, i.e. he was terrible.

Look at the descending maneuver that Hanjour pulled. It was high speed for that aircraft because it was referred to as such by air traffic controller Danielle O'Brien. That is more than just aiming; it is navigating and maneuvering in an extreme manner. There was also the very real danger of simply crashing into the ground. Stop trying to downplay what really happened. You lost all your credibility with your 'child could have done it' nonsense'. Stop there and save some credibility.

What you would rather fly is irrelevant. They had training in a Cessna, not 767s or 757s. More irrelevant nonsense.

Learn to read. It was claimed that Hanjour aimed at the side so he could pick the plane up and try again if he didn't like his approach. Generally speaking, strafing is a ground attack from a low-flying aircraft. I'd say this fits the bill.

There are no difficult angles to hit the Pentagon, it is one of the largest office buildings in the world. What are you talking about? You have no clue.

The building is short when approached horizontally. It isn't even that much taller than a 757 itself. A poor pilot hitting the side of the Pentagon square in the middle in a 757 while level with the ground without touching the ground is not likely.

Are you not aware that the Pentagon is a short building? Are you under the impression that because something is long and wide that it is also tall?

why do you think it would be easier to dive in than hit a wall at level flight? Want to play?

If it's your contention that performing a high speed descending turn, leveling out just above ground level and hitting the side of the Pentagon without touching the ground is easier than pointing the aircraft down at the Pentagon then go right ahead and demonstrate it.

Demonstrate what? Your contention is it would be easier to hit a building in a dive then straight on in a (more or less) level attitude. Why do you say this?
