BREAKING: New World Order officially announced

Let me get this straight "Jihad Jane". Do these next pictures fill you with hope, optimism and enthusiasm for humankind's future?

You think you'll have the same freedom of speech, religion, opinion and movement with these fellas?

You think this is the appropriate, and most desirable alternative to US hegemony?

Really?

The world stage would look a lot better if Ahmadinejad asked Mugabe where he buys his suits.

I almost wish he'd go back wearing that cheap 1970's windbreaker 24-7 and under all circumstances.

Funny how freemoxy (freedom and democracy) lovers can be so keen on domination.

I'd like to hear answers to those questions, too.

The pictures are illustrations of how the world looks under US global domination. Indeed, at least one of those pictured came to power as a result of the hegemony's machinations.

Come on Jihad, you're not being honest again. You're using true believer circular logic. I don't buy that even yourself believe in your "US dominance is bad, the opposition to US opposition is bad because the US made them that way". That's insane.

Let's try again.

Those are the forces that are joining against US dominance. So again, do you think they're the right alternative, do you feel optimistic about those alliances? Do you think those leaders will be the future champions of freedom and democracy?

It's easy: if the US weakens, these people will be strengthened. Do you think this is a bad or a good thing?

ANSWER.

I'd buy that she believes that. She is a Truther after all. Once you go Truth, what won't you believe in?

I think most people would accept that one british empire was more than enough.

I prefer the Pepsi/McDonald's model of expansionist domineering. Let a handful of oldies with threatened power whine while the younger generations leave the muckfields and run into the cities to live and wear T-shirts with slogans on them.

Doesn't appear to work. Heck there are even places where coke has been built into the local religious rituals. The problem is that what you end up with is an even smaller elite that hold all the power and that the AK47 also sells pretty well to people who are not part of the power holding group.

The degree to which western companies can get on with and support dictatorships is quite impressive. Although not perhaps as impressive as the ability of some companies to operate in the DRC.

That's your cartoon, not mine.

My question was "Does anyone think a world free of US domination is a bad idea?"

In theory there is nothing wrong with it but in practice all hell would likely break out.

Your turn: Do you think a world dominated by whackjobs like Ahmadinejad and Chavez would be better than it is now?

It would have been a like asking "Do you think a Yugoslavia free of Soviet domination would be a bad thing", or, "Would getting rid of Saddam Hussain be a bad thing".

Once, the answers would have been such resounding "No"s as to make the questions rhetorical.

Look how THAT turned out
