• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Merged Boston Marathon CTs

You are pranking for the Boston Bombers with delusional videos of woo. Do 911 truthers stick together, cover-up each other's crimes by making up lies, posting pathetic videos, and spreading nonsense? Boston Bombers believed the same lies you have on 911. Were they Holocaust deniers? Where do you find the dolts who lie about the Boston Bombing? Do they have a club, who can make up the dumbest lies? Why can't you find evidence with your woo?

Do you know what "It seemed" means? I hope you're not that confrontational in real life.

I am not sure I get his point. Is he saying that the friends of the younger brother are the actual perps and they are trying to deflect attention by promoting the false flag conspiracy?

I think he's saying one of two things. Either that the conspiracy includes these people - something I doubt - or that these people are the ultimate origins of this conspiracy theory. I wouldn't presume to know what he's actually thinking or make a statement on it. That's how bad things happen, and I think I'm reasonably good at online security, but not that good.

His evidence is weak at best.

This is something I can comment on. His evidence is enough at the very least to justify a warrant if police had it and went to the judge. Not enough to convict, no.

The last name isn't much to go with, I share a last name that is very common in Finland though I have never been there and never met anyone (besides my immediate family) that shares the name. The joke about going to russia could mean anything and the fact that his friends have a cognitive dissonance that their best friend could do such a thing isn't surprising.

I'd tend to agree, in principle. It's enough to induce suspicion, but I wouldn't feel safe convicting anybody on it. On the other hand, I've been following him for three year and I'd feel reasonably safe there's more going on than he put in that post.

But I'm really leaning towards the friends being responsible for the conspiracy theory rather than them being malicious terrorists. I don't agree that defending your friend by looking for any excuse or loophole makes you a sympathizer; in many cultures you'd be expected to do no less.

It seemed the brothers had been pranking with fireworks as a disruption and they intended to disrupt the Boston Marathon the same way

...no it doesn't. I mean, I guess with the best will possible? But even with the best will possible, that's still, you know, terrorism. I get why the friends are doing this, but why are you?

Thankfully, I never claimed to be anything but. At least posting it here got it out of my head, where it did not belong.

Though on further reflection, a prank going wrong and causing havoc and devastation has already been the subject of quite a few movies. Also, SNL sketches. And Charlie Chaplin's entire career.

Yes, that's probably it. And then they got framed in a vicsim operation, right, Clayton?

Because nothing is ever, ever as it seems.

(NOTE: I'm not at all saying that the speculation about tweets linked above is correct or plausible. But Clayton's kneejerk reaction that these tweets absolve the brothers of responsibility for the real terrorist attack is just crap.)

Okay. I'm ignoring the first question because it's a ridiculous question. Even assuming that just this once you were NOT blaming Jews, I feel comfortable in my belief that you would at some point do so, and therefore, made a preemptive mockery on the subject.

Second question. No. No I am not. I am saying that he may be looking at things from too negative a perspective. Seeing a larger conspiracy where there is none. Much like other people I've met.

Of course, in his case, he's doing so from about five years of experience with actual criminal conspiracies and organizations dedicated to malice. The other people are doing so because JYOOZ/GUBBERMINT/SANTA.

You and your ilk mention and re-mention Jews ad infinitum in some kind perverse reverse form of Jew baiting. Again you and your ilk wouldn't be doing it over and over and over if there wasn't something to hide or protect.
