Merged Boston Marathon CTs

Here we see an interesting phenomenon that has occurred in previous events such as 9/11. Conspiracy theorists pick up some totally benign unimportant detail (such as a MA National Guard unit being at the Boston Marathon), and due to their own ignorance, turn it into some sort of huge nefarious smoking gun. They then proceed to spread their speculation and rumour around the internet. And when the powers that be don't immediately respond to their wild speculation they shriek and wail about the government failing to be honest and provide information.

It obviously hasn't occured to them that the vast majority of the world isn't interested in their bizarre speculation. The majority of the world don't even know about their theories. They certainly don't deem them worthy of wasting time responding to them. I imagine the authorities have better things to do than respond to every ridiculous, unsupported and ignorant invention some guy on the internet comes up with.

Why hasn't the US government officially responded to Time Cube, I ask you? What are they trying to hide, huh?
 
Official response is almost worse. It won't convince the original CTs, but it might lead a few new people to the existence of the original theory. Plus, you know, if someone official went through the effort of responding to it, then you KNOW there is really something there!

So this AQ operative organizes the bombing then he goes and stands next to one of the bombs? Why would he do that?

15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabian. Why bother trying to cover-up one more Saudi?

But the quote from his source was (emphasis mine):

Note that Tsarni was NOT contracted directly by USAID but rather was a consultant for two private firms contracted by the agency. There was no way this was inadvertent, editing out those words took more effort than including the whole quote and he did not even include the three dots indicating elipses. Even if he had his editing still would have been dishonest because the exercised portion greatly weakens his 'money quote'.

This event was VERY real, and scores of people were ;left amputees by the bombs- The woman in the blue shirt laying by the fence was the victim who was buried yesterday-

This tendency to downplay the suffering of others, and to show a callous indifference to the anguish of victims and their families is a very common tendency i have seen among conspiracy theorists.

9/11 Truther 'no planers' dehumanize the passengers and crew who were murdered on the planes by denying they even existed. They call the mourning families liars. They even suggest real people did not fall from the towers.

The Sandy Hook shooting deniers insist the traumatized teachers who survived were putting on an act-

Now the Boston marathon bombing conspiracy theorists accuse the victims of being actors.

*WHY* do conspiracy theorists continue to dehumanize the victims of these violent acts?

There were scores of eye witnesses to the carnage that was caused by the bombings in Boston- do the CTs have evidence to back their claims it was all fake?
Do they care at all about the suffering of the victims?

I think many conspiracy theorists are full fledged sociopaths- many of them lack the ability to feel any empathy or compassion, and many C.T's appear to suffer from mental illness-hence their total detachment from reality, overwelming pananoia and delusions of persecution-But is there more to it? I'm just trying to understand how it is they can dismiss the anguish of others with such ease
