Border Security and Illegal Immigration

A common conspiracy theory for quite some months now is that the US-Mexico borders are wider open on purpose, to bring in Mexican immigrants and dismantle the American culture over time, as to make it accept a NAU in a soon future.
That of course intercepts with all the NWO theories and such.
Evidences of it are official numbers on illegal immigrants entering the US by the millions (lowest average I've managed to found was 700k/year), the border fence that is still to be built, the Minuteman Project complainers about border security, and others...

Border is indeed an issue of national security today...

What do you think about it?

IMO it's a very possible theory. It's very unjustifiable to have a wide open border especially in a time of global terrorism *ahem*. If anything, it's a sign that radical muslims aren't really, well, you know, trying to kill us.

we have an open border because the liberals and conservatives are both slaves to the immigrant community. liberals for idealistic and voting reasons, conservatives for business reasons.

as long as illegals vote overwhelmingly democrat..and as long as illegals help make large food corporations rich...there will be NO true fight against illegal immigration. is it money and politics over security? your damn right it is.

by the way, their is also a theory, that the "jews" have created our current immigration and open border policy inorder to dilute the white make up of america, thereby making "the jews" look more appetizing.

its all bologna, but it show just how far they'll go with their theories.

Why would a terrorist cross via Mexico or Canada?
They got into our country legally last time and then flew planes into 3 buildings.
Equating your opinion that our borders are badly protected with a belief that muslims are not trying to kill is a non sequitur
 
The length of the border and the disparity of wealth between the US and Mexico makes large scale migration inevitable, I think. If the US wasn't a laissez-faire capitalist smallish government type of place, then they could possible devote massive resources to the border. But even North Korea and China, with their massive state apparatus and totalitarian systems, can't prevent people from moving across their borders.

People will find a way to beat the system, you don't need a conspiracy to let them in - it's very hard to keep them out.

I was personally unaware of it. How common is it?

So, by that reasoning if I say there is a conspiracy to make bad remakes of all my favorite horror movies, it won't get moved to the movies section.

I sometimes think that the CTers who come here think this is the only section of the forum. If they went to other sections they may find that we are not the demons we are sometimes made out to be.
 
I think to be fair, it depends if you're discussing the actual conspiracy itself, or other matters.

If we take this thread, were you to get into the pros and cons of immigration, that's politics or whatever. However if we stick just to investigating whether immigration policy is part of a bigger conspiracy, that's okay for this section.

Or something.

Yurebiz does come back and respond. It just might take a day or two.

Actualy, I think it would be the opposite. Take a look at how many of them actually believe that Bush is a human-sacrificing Satanist, that the End Times are Near, that modern medicine is a scam, that our food is killing us, and any other woo topic you could name, and I expect the rest of the forum wold send them screaming into the night.
 
Yes it is a conspiracy theory. Alex Jones spends a hell lot of time talking about it.
The border itself is no conspiracy theory. I think we agree that it's open
The CT is on WHY it's open, get it? Hence the OP.. it claims it is in order to establish the NAU...

I'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy theory. Unless you think it's a fact. That would be creepy.
