From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

A federal judge this morning dismissed a suit filed by a U.S. Army reservist who objected to deployment in Afghanistan because he said he believes Barack Obama was never legally eligible to be the president.

U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook filed a request with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia on July 8 seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector.

He's not full-time army; he's a reservist that was unlucky enough to be called up for Afghanistan duty.

I kinda wonder if this wasn't just a stunt to get kicked out of the Reserves so he wouldn't have to go.

We've been discussing this in conspiracy theories. He was not "unlucky enough to be called up"; he volunteered for Afghanistan duty, then objected when his request was approved. This appears to have been a stunt to give him some standing to sue; he was already a part of Birther Queen Bee Orly Taitz's crowd.

It suggests that they're really cowards...the fact that he was a reservist, I mean...if they really wanted to test the system, they'd find an active duty objectee...one who could go to jail for insobordination or be drummed out of the service with a poor conduct record...

In short, they don't have faith in their so called convictions. IMO.
