Interesting interview, with a little regrettable allusion to a cute pseudoscientific claim about look up whenever one lies. Ah, well.
As an outsider it looks as though there is a reliable tell to indicate when O'Reilly is lying - his lips move.

...I don't see them backing down.
I expect O'Reilly will be put on a 6 month suspension any day now.
Seriously? If anything, they'll give him a raise. Lying is, after all, what they PAY him to do.
In his 2012 book "Killing Kennedy," O'Reilly wrote that he knocked on the door of a South Florida home when suddenly he "heard the shotgun blast that marked the suicide" of George de Mohrenschildt, a Russian immigrant who knew Lee Harvey Oswald.
I just found this recording of O'Reilly hearing for the first time about the suicide in Florida by phone, and stating that he intended to get a car and travel to Florida. It puts the lie to his claim that he was outside the door when he heard the shotgun blast.

Yes, that's pretty much a smoking gun. It is impossible at this point to defend him, so I expect Fox will just continue to ignore the evidence and maintain silence.I just found this recording of O'Reilly hearing for the first time about the suicide in Florida by phone, and stating that he intended to get a car and travel to Florida. Well, there's one thing they'll never take away from Bill. The Medal of Freedom
Or the Peabody Award that he claimed that he'd won, but hadn't.
Steve S
Can anyone recall the C-Span exchange between Bill and Al Franken over that Peabody Award That Never Was? It was hysterical (in several senses of the word).
Behold! 9 minutes and 20 seconds of Bill's smack-down.
O'Reilly: "I misspoke, and called a Polk a Peabody."
You don't understand. He didn't say he was actually there. What he said is that he was shown pictures of the mailman knocking at the door when the man shot himself inside, you far-left zealot liar stinko poopy-pants ninny. Oh, and pinhead too.
