Essentially Corn (and the awesome Robert Wright) are frustrated by mainstream media coverage, which has taken a familiar "he said, he said" form when it's really "Corn reports, O'Reilly accuses..."

Apropos of nothing, one article I read said that sources estimate O'Reilly's show brings in over 100 million dollars in revenue per year.

Got to agree with Corn here. There's absolutely nothing in what he reports about O'Reilly that relies on his own credibility. It's all factual reporting against O'Reilly's own statements. And he rightly points out that O'Reilly has yet to refute a single factual claim.

I just noticed in the news that O'Reilly's claim to have seen bombings in Northern Ireland is, in reality, he was shown pictures of bombing aftermath by police. This is just like having seen nuns shot dead in El Salvador -- also retroactively attributed to seeing photos.

I have a feeling that this maniac's obsession with portraying himself as false witness to history is going to be paying out dividends of schadenfreude for a long time to come.
