.....Footers are eating the story up.
I don't know where you are seeing that. From what I have seen, there is almost universal incredulity.

New leak from Sykes study suggests that Sykes agrees with Ketchum that there is a new hominid in North America! A new leak from the Dr. Brian Sykes Bigfoot DNA study indicates that Sykes agrees with Dr. Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot DNA study that there is indeed a new hominid in North America. However, Sykes disagrees with Ketchum regarding the origin of this new hominid.

What an amazing first night with Oola and Dr. Bryan Sykes. We will actually be talking for three days and there is a lot being said and I am enjoying picking his brain and learning more about the genetic science and he is enjoying picking my brain about the Bigfoot world, history, and even talking about psychology. Fascinating time and my wife hit it off with his wife. It will be a very exciting two more days, and we are laughing a lot because it turns out that Sykes and I are very much alike and Sykes and I were laughing at how much my wife and his wife are alike.
The other thing that I found very pleasant is that this man is one of the smartest men on the planet and he is so down to earth and easy to talk with. We will be sharing videos in the future.

All I can say is wow! Okay here is what is going on. We will be staying one more night in San Francisco. We have one more meeting in the morning at 10 AM and that is to plan our departure and what is going to happen the rest of the week. I will take Betty sightseeing tomorrow around San Francisco. Dr. Sykes and I have hit off so well that we cannot stop talking. My wife and his wife have hit it off so well they are already new BFF's. Sykes told me this afternoon that he has decided to stay for one week instead of going home tomorrow (Tuesday). So now, as we drive home on Wednesday Dr. Sykes will be going with my family in our Bigfootology-mobile. We plan on going north to Eureka, then up the Bigfoot Highway to Willow Creek and then into Medford. We will tag up with Team Bigfootology members on the way to our home on Whidbey Island north of Seattle. We will also be stopping by Patti Reinhold's place in Sweet Home, Oregon, then Warm Springs Reservation in Oregon. Then we will drop into Ray Crowe's home again. Then we go into Washington home and tag up with whoever wants. After we get home, Sykes and I are going to various hotspots and we are going to help him have an experience. It is exciting and he is excited and we are all exhausted and buzzing. It will be a fun week as we travel all over Washington and then he will fly back to San Francisco next week and then home to England.
I hope Sykes can resist the force...

He didn't seem to say anything at all about any news.
Mullins is long gone into bigfoot la-la land.

It seems the Footer force is formidible and I fear for Sykes' future fidelity in regards to this fantasy primate.
Fer crissake! I think given the subject matter (bigfoot), you might just want to lighten up a scoche. I'm sure this world-class scientist will do just fine without your defending him. Unless you are him.You don't just fancy letting this world-leading scientist publish before you start worrying about his fidelity? I don't know, it just seems obvious to me that you comment after you know something, don't you, rather than before?
Simmer, champ.
I don't join in online mockery. That isn't good enough for the inhabitants of the bigfoot threads. Just to say "let's wait for the results before we pour scorn" has never gone down well here, although the sanity of that position seems unarguable to me. But don't let me spoil your fun.......
