it doesn't matter who is at the top, they will always act like that. And every time the stress hits (like now, obviously), they implode, root out and excommunicate the heretics. It's the nature of the place.

I think you are crediting them with some kind of sense of ethics that simply doesn't exist. It's a forum, they can do what they want, apply the rules as they see fit, or not. Your expectations need to be adjusted.
Just another beautiful day in the BFF neighborhood, I guess. Yes they are being forced out because the SC was just an afterthought. It's intent was not to truly represent positive change, or the desires of the forum membership, since discussion of business isn't allowed.
A true Steering Committee actually initiates plans and changes through the FMT, not the other way around. The SC's designation should be changed to match what it's true function is on that forum, "The Peanut Gallery".

The SC is a joke cause it is all poor misguided footers, why even bother with it, if you don't believe in the monkey they don't want you, who they trying fool with it.
I see now the DNA talk is turning back to finding a real flesh and blood specimen, its back to kill or not to kill, they can't even locate a BF and they talk about sacrificing one for science ~ lol

What happened to the one they winged and got some blood from, I lost track of that little ditty, I suspect they better anti up soon with a body this summer or they will be facing some unhappy footers before too long.

There are large, bigfoot only, hospitals in various parts of North America. This is another reason for not finding bodies, bones, etc.

Well I think the time has come to call it quits with this BF stuff, for me the fun is gone and it has just been a love hate ridicule thing and that's not how I started out, I got the answer I needed and I see no reason to keep going, the monkey don't exist and that was the thrill in the beginning, it is just a human psychological study now, the footers asked for science to look into it and that's what they got, they gave it their best shot with people they trusted and it failed, it's over and done, from here on in it's just a circus of lost misguided soles that have no direction to where they have to go next, I'll keep the old stories in my mind the way I heard them first, as a young kid at camp mitten in Brewster, MA back in the 70's sitting around a fire listening to the counselor as he scared the crap out of me
