Merged Bigfoot follies

You don't think it's a matter of degree? What about one sighting versus habituation? Who is more insane?

Once one cries "Havoc!" and lets slip the hounds of footery; one's any claim to be moored in the safe harbour of reality, anchored to fact and setting tomorrow's course by the honest compass of actuality, is, at best, severely cheapened; frayed and worn by rubbing the ragged edges of fictions, mothed by self-deceit and rusted by the corrosions of falsehood.

Rather that OT posting about worms, how about addressing the ON topic posts responding directly to points that you have raised?

This is about the 3rd repeat of a post that you seem to be assiduously ignoring.
Which is exactly my point regarding using a true skeptical approach, without data what kind of conclusion can you draw either way?

But we do have data,

There has never been a large primate on continental America - never.
Nothing ever bigger than a squirrel.
And those that DID exist, went extinct around 40 million years ago.

There is no logical, sceptical, scientific reason to even consider the existence of a 9ft primate extant on the N.Am continent if (prosimian) primates went extinct nearly 40 million years ago.

Sod the fact that no evidence has ever been unearthed since human habitation.

Primates have never existed there in the past 40 million years.
This is data.
Solid, scientific conclusions can be drawn from them.

I don't know what he writes off, or what he doesn't.
How could we possibly know?

AREA X Has a lot of trees.

A few streams.

Well, that was beautiful. I don't know what in the Sam Hill it has to do with bigfoot, but it was beautiful. The boy has some talents for video editing and production value.

They might want to contact the ODWC about the alleged "mountain lion" sign he claims in there . . .

Isn't the hole just getting deeper? Here he's got potentially hours and hours of the latest-in-technology video of the beautiful countryside that surrounds his special plot of Oklahoma land he calls AReaX¹, yet has only righteous indignation whenever he's questioned why he doesn't have even a millisecond of similar video of the famous Wood Apes™ that supposedly exist on that exact same plot of land. "Somebody" is gonna have to come up with a "real Wood Ape" sooner than later me thinks.

The video is nice though. That means he's always telling the truth.

Who is more pregnant - the woman carrying a 6 pound baby or the one carrying a 9 pounder?

That's not the same thing. I hear everywhere on this forum that what is observed isn't always reliable and neither is the memory of the event. So wouldn't that make the person who is a one time bigfoot witness perfectly sane and normal?

You can go just as crazy chasing real things.

You mean someone who is making up a story about seeing Bigfoot one time? You are asking me if they are sane and normal?

Jodie, was it you that said that mental evaluations cannot be done remotely? If that is true, are you baiting me into giving an evaluation of sanity and normalcy only to then tell me that that can't be done on the Internet?

I beg to differ, I have not ignored anything. I've been saying it over and over for several pages. Lack of evidence can alllow you to draw a conclusion based on probabilities but it really can't provide definitive proof. In bigfoot's case, it is simply an opinion based on a pragmatic approach regarding missing data, data that should be there, if what is described is real.

Under that premise, how can we definitely say that tyrannosaurus rex is extinct Jodie? How can that be any different than saying there is no bigfoot? Please explain.
