Bigfoot DNA

The conclusions of her paper are not without some merit though. I know this simply because the history of DNA tests on alleged Sasquatch samples and knowing that there are some of these creatures out there to begin with. It's important to understand that she is a veterinarian so it's only natural that she whipped up a science paper of veterinarian quality. It may take a word-renowned geneticist like Dr. Sykes to set things straight, but hopefully the data she accumulated will speak for itself. I think time will tell.

Ontario Sqatch, you are being CONNED. Stop being a victim of these profiteers and think for yourself. Am I correct in thinking that you are still in your teens? Why do you want to spend your adult life giving time and money to these perveyers of fiction. Melba Ketchum is selling a bill of goods to those willing to purchase it and I would bet that you have allready ponied up the $30.00 to read this drivel. Get out while you can and explore a world that does not contain bigfoot. It's still a wonderful world.

I appreciate the advice and I can tell you guys are trying to help, but I won't just dismiss the evidence that has accumulated over the years. I wouldn't dedicate so much time to Bigfoot if I didn't think there is really something to it. I can see that most of Bigfootery is bs, but there is some good and I believe there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm pretty sure OS is one of the players, not a playee.

I think we may very well learn that the conclusions bear no resemblance to the results.

The conclusions are likely invented to support a belief, imo.

Clear up a few things!

seems to be a bit of confusion on the editor,. I do not know if OS purposely gave misleading information, most likely not, but just to be crystal clear here.

The editor of the specific article is indeed Dr. Rayford Wallace.

However the editor of this newly created "scientific journal", well that is none other that
Robin Lynne Phiefer, (or various other iterations of her name with a few others thrown in for good measure and camoflauge)

see my previous post if that name does not ring a bell!

Double whammy - 2, 2, 2 believers in 1! to quote an old certs? commercial
CWB

As you know GT: knowing the players is what gives the upper hand ~ One of the things I have come to respect about the folks that are into this BF stuff here on the JREF is there certainty about this entire thing being nothing but BS, so when someone comes along and thinks they are being clever, they are really just being played.

Tim :)

Have a taste for bagels of the blueberry variety. Maybe I'll head over to Bigfoots's Bagel Bistrot.

Yeah, i am getting smarter, before I went public i screen shotted it, as well as just cut and pasted the text. I have no idea how to use image shack, you want me to email you the image?
NOT SMART ENOUGH HOWEVER TO KEEP FROM DOUBLE POSTING! MAN i AM A GENIUS!

yep email me the image

If there was any decent, objective evidence for the existence of bigfoot, real scientists would be all over it. They're not. So what does this tell you?

Ketchum created her own "journal" to "publish" her "paper." Yeah, that's a whole lot of air quotes. All she's got is pure baloney for $30 a pop. Beats holding down a real job.

If you don't get the con by now, then shame on you.

...and knowing that there are some of these creatures out there to begin with.

You are a Bigfoot knower?

It may take a word-renowned geneticist like Dr. Sykes to set things straight, but hopefully the data she accumulated will speak for itself. I think time will tell.

Time already has told what Bigfoot believers will do. Scientific papers and proclamations concerning Bigfoot are widely rejected by the scientific community because they do not support the claim (Bigfoot exists) in any functional way. But the Bigfooter Community doesn't take the path of science and does not reject what has already been rejected.

It makes no matter that Ketchum doesn't show that Bigfoot exists. There will be Bigfooters who will claim that she does. That is all that matters in the long haul of Bigfootery.

You always need to be apart from the rest of the world. You need to believe or know something that they don't. That is Bigfoot and all Bigfooters have decided to be Bigfooters.

I think this one will stick with Bigfooters because you don't have an obvious visual hoax like the Georgia Boys with their fake Bigfoot body. That allows them to use semantics and intellectual dishonesty to explain that Melba got it right.

It will be the same as with the PGF. Not all Bigfoot believers think that Patty is authentic. But some do.

Not all Bigfoot believers will think that Ketchum has proven the exiistence of Bigfoot. But some will.

Obviously the con-men require the credulous but it's clear those fooled need these foolers to confirm their beliefs. How else could one believe in such a thing as bigfoot without something to hang one's hat on?

The hoaxers plus an on-line community where the gullible can validate each other virtually guarantee a bright future for this completely unevidenced cryptid.

Dear Robin Lynn(e) Pfeifer/Haynes/ForestPeople: I know these are exciting times, and that deciding on names is difficult, but after you have fed your bigfoots their blueberry bagels today, plz tell us the name of the online journal; is it:

"DeNovo Scientific Journal"?
or
"DeNovo: accelerating science" ?
or
"DeNovo: Accelerated Science"?

or what?

...because the authors of the papers you publish will, you know, want to be able to correctly cite the journal name, along with the date, Vol, No., pp. etc, for their vitae.

Dear Robin,

Or is it really DeVono Scientific Publishing, as indicated by the copyright notice on the Contact page?

Also, I attempted to follow you via your social media links, but they took me to the pages for "Wix free HTML5 publishing".

Thanks,
Kilaak Kommander

Dear Robin:

These blueberry bagels, do they give your Footies the winds?

Also, have you any other manuscripts awaiting publication in your . . . journal?

Thanks in advance.

You know, this make-up-your-own-journal stuff is actually a lot more pathetic an ending than I predicted for this silliness. I was skeptical that there was a paper at all, but if there was one and if it ever got published, I assumed it would go to Meldrum's journal or something in an obscure Russian or Chinese format. I never imagined that they would sink so low as to invent their own journal to get this thing "published". That's really no different than "publishing" it as a post on one's blog.
