Bigfoot DNA

And the first part of the plan is in place. The Ketchum Hokum announces that they will be creating a website for non-scientists to read her paper and understand all the technical mumbo-jumbo. I am sure when the site is up, it will be a pay site, and you can also buy the book or DVD associated with the study. It's always about the money.

I should also add there are two scenarios on the publication of the paper. The first is that it will never be published, and the reason will be sciences unwillingness to accept scientific proof of existence. It will be the fault of science for it not being open minded to junk science. Second, as we have discussed, it will be published in a fringe journal and taken as gospel by the believers.

Maybe we should start a pool on which fringe journal publishes the paper? ....

The Center for Fortean Zanies Zoology announces a new Journal of Cryptozoology, edited by a well-known profitologist cryptozoologist.

"peer review" by an editorial board comprising credulous ghost wankers open minded persons and skeptics.

Why?

I'd definitely buy the first issue as it may be the only one not printed by mimeograph. How long will the "Finding Bigfoot" wave "lift all boats?"

David Paulides aka Mr. Ketchum pens a tantalizing post. in which he seems to be foreshadowing a theme of his forthcoming "Bigfoot is human" book, something that he has previously written about on his blog: reproduction through abduction and rape of tribal women:
In the future you will be introduced to an element of bigfoot behavior that is rarely discussed, routinely ignored and reprehensible in thought. If the government never admits knowledge of a libelous issue on property under their control, they cannot be held liable, this was specifically told to two of our researchers while investigating a specific topic. Be patient, the epiphany of this libelous issue will make its presence in the coming months.

This may sound a bit like "I had bigfoot's baby."....kind of supermarket-tabloidy... but I congratulate Dave on his marketing genius: this will definitely sell the book to the typical 'footer.

I have a suggestion for the dust jacket:

Well, the Ketchum Hokum has confirmed that the document will not be published in the Journal of Cryptozoology. I am thinking the winner may be the Journal of Scientific Exploration, if any journal.

The Ullibarri hair samples constitute very important "evidence" in the Paulides/Ketchum human/DNA projects. From Paulides' site:

Review of the Ullibarri Events

Raven observes a hairy biped take garbage.
Raven signs an affidavit to the facts surrounding the sighting.
Raven completes a forensic drawing of the biped with Harvey Pratt.

A police officer responds to Ravens residence, feels thunderous footsteps and feels a presence in the woods and observes odd looking hair on the shed.
The police officer signs an affidavit to the events at Raven’s residence.

The hair from Raven’s is sent to the hair and fiber expert. He confirms that it does not match any known hair or fiber that exists today. He states that the hair does have properties that make it appear to be some type of primate, an unknown primate. The hair is sent to Dr. Ketchum for DNA extraction.

Dr. Ketchum attempts to extract DNA from the Ullibarri sample. We find that DNA cannot be extracted from the shaft of the hair, we must use the root or tissue tag. Dr. Ketchum obtains highly unusual results, which are documented in David Paulides’ book, Tribal Bigfoot. (http://www.nabigfootsearch.com/tribalbigfoot.html).

While the Ullibarri sample may not be the perfect scenario, it clearly, factually and legally depicts a chain of events that identify a hairy biped visiting a yard, leaving behind hair that is identified and tested.
I'm not certain this is a timeline, but if it is, I congratulate Paulides and the sketch artist for being first on the scene. lol.

The officer swore he felt a presence in the woods? In addition to the 'thunderous footsteps'? or were the Thunderous footsteps indication of a presence.

Just trying to see if there is some supernatural tone to the affidavit.

Paulides' new book has been announced, and it isn't quite what I expected; maybe.
Missing-411 is the first comprehensive book about people who have disappeared in the wilds of North America. It’s understood that people routinely get lost, some want to disappear but this story is about the unusual. Nobody has ever studied the archives for similarities, traits and geographical clusters of missing people, until now.

A tip from a national park ranger led to this three year, 7000+ hour investigative effort into understanding the stories behind people who have vanished. The book chronicles children, adults and the elderly who disappeared, sometimes in the presence of friends and relatives. As Search and Rescue personnel exhaust leads and places to search, relatives start to believe kidnappings and abductions have occurred. The belief by the relatives is not an isolated occurrence; it replicates itself time after time, case after case across North America.

let me guess: the butler bigfoot did it.

3 years, 7,000 hours, assuming 52 weeks per year is 45 hour weeks working on this single project. How does he have time to blog or do anything else ?

More from the Ketchum Hokum:

PLEASE ONLY post questions on this thread and not discussion. I will delete all comments and questions related to the Bible, religion of any sort, aliens, when the paper is coming out, and other material not related to the DNA study and results. Sorry but that's the only way to keep this thread on track.

I am sure that is not the only criteria for deleting questions in that thread. I am sure the real scientific ones, the mundane ones, will be promptly responded to in that thread. Oh, wait, those would fall under the veil of secrecy.

Goodness, it appears Dan Fogelberg has really hit rock bottom!!

Oh, man - huge surprise there with black background and white writing on Paulide's link provided by parnassus. So we get stupid and offensive in the same package with this fellah. Stupid all the way to the bank I guess, if people are buying his book.

How can you trust a bigfoot con artist to write a book on missing people? So bigfoot is a tribe of missing people, and they kidnap new blood now and then?

Oh, it's the unified field of junk science. I am sure you can link devil's triangles, alien abduction, bigfoot abduction, hollow earth, parallel universes, and maybe even a faked moon landing. It's a cross-discipline book.

"peer review" by an editorial board comprising credulous ghost wankers open minded persons and skeptics.

Why?

The peer-review panel for the Journal of Cryptozoology:

Colin Groves - Professor of Bioanthropology, Australian National University http://archanth.anu.edu.au/staff/professor-colin-groves

Christine Janis

Paul LeBlond

Adrienne Mayor

Darren Naish - Vertebrate Palaeontologist, University of Southampton http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/tetrapod-zoology/about.php?author=58

Charles Paxton

Brian Regal - Assistant Professor for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine, Kean University http://www.kean.edu/~bregal/

Lars Thomas

David Waldron - Lecturer in Social Science and the Humanities, University of Ballarat http://guerin.ballarat.edu.au/ard/bssh/staff/sinfo/wal.html

Why so negative? I am no fan of the Forteans in general but I am familiar with the peer-reviewers highlighted above and consider them to be well-informed, skeptical, and non-sensationalist in their respective approaches - certainly not “credulous ghost wankers” in any regard. Can anyone comment on the others?

What about the RHI? I'll be surprised if Meldrum hops on board with this one.
Bayanov (RHI) Blasts Regal (JoC) Broadside - http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/bayanov-regal/

Could it be that the former International Society of Cryptozoology is reforming under two competing factions?
