No, Biden isn't an eloquent or gifted speaker. But he also doesn't lie every damn time he opens his mouth like Trump does.

I find it pitiful that some here concentrate on his speaking gaffes and just ignore the fact that, if Biden is a gaffe machine, Trump is a lie machine. He couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it because he is mentally ill. I'll take a gaffe machine Biden over a pathological liar and sociopath Trump any day of the week.

No psychologists/psychiatrists have felt the need to warn us about how dangerous and mentally ill Biden is. The same cannot be said of Trump.

If I am not mistaken, his wife is a doctor with a PhD...not a medical doctor.

Yes, he even admits it, but so what? It didn't bother you when Trump stumbled and (oranges . . . the oranges) bumbled, so why now? I mean, a guy bragging about "acing" a cognitive test which he thought (snicker) was an intelligence test is no one to brag on.

Biden can laugh at himself and admit he has faults and makes mistakes. That is the sign of a healthy ego. Trump is capable of none of those. That is the sign of an incredibly fragile and unhealthy ego.

Because of the difference in how they handle it when it happens.

Biden recognizes that something's going wrong, fills time with "uh" and "um" while trying to find a solution, and restarts from the middle of one sentence to the middle of another if the thing he decides to say isn't a direct continuation of what he was saying before. Trumps just keeps plowing ahead like nothing's wrong.

The former is more typical of a more deliberate, planned, and controlled person trying to make sure that what eventually comes out will be precisely what (s)he intends to say. The latter is more typical of somebody whose priority is not about the contents of what (s)he's saying but the "confidence" (s)he projects while saying it. Thus, the former is more forgivable to an audience that cares mostly about the contents of what's being said, and the latter is more appealing to an audience that cares mostly about the style (particularly the "confidence, which equals manliness") of the act.

Even Trump's rambling didn't make him a bad President or necessarily his narcissism. Or the fact that Trump is genuinely an awful human being. Winston Churchill was an awful human being, so was Woodrow Wilson. A lot of people think highly of both.

Trump was a bad President because, he was corrupt, he was a racist and because he was inept and because he is a bully.

Count me as those who, admitting his many flaws, think Churchil was a great man. I don't get the hatred for him.

It depends upon whether you judge him on his whole body of work, or his best. By the time he became PM, he had a few mis-steps to make up for.

Doctor Biden earned her EdD (not PhD) from the University of Delaware. She had previously earned two master's degrees (one in education, one in English).

In 1998, she ran a marathon in just over 4:30.
