Basically he was marveling about how different Obama was from previous high profile black presidential candidates, and that as a result he'd have much more significant mainstream appeal. And he was right.

Having finally gotten a look at the video of the encounter which gives us some context, I have come to the conclusion that the righties are just having another masturbatory celebration of nothing significant. Biden asked the manager how much he owed and the manager seemed to me to be offering to write it off for a tax cut.

You are aware, are you not, that government officials are expected to pay for ANYTHING they consume?
