Even if he was joking, it was an incredibly stupid thing to say.

Hell, why not just come out with an endorsement for Sarah Palin?
 
Taxes on the investor class are already lower than they were in 1980. That's the problem. That leaves the working class to pick up some of the burden that the investor class should be bearing.

Custard man is just mouthing teatrash. Probably too stupid to realize that he is arguing against his own best long-term interests.
 
Could it be that they were both engaging in some good-natured ribbing that the news is blowing out of proportion?

Doesn't the smartass realize Biden & friends will lose more votes lowering taxes (with the implication of reduced spending) than they will if they just spend more and more and more?

Isn't that part of the Job Description for Vice President? To say all the stupid things that make you glad they don't actually have the top job and the other guy is doing it?
