A little lighter fare... (I think)

Beatles or Stones?

(You know what I mean.) :)

Later Beatles for tripping and testing stereo effects on system, Stones for rocking and rolling.

Then again, I have the entire collection of Beatle albums (well, all the real ones beginning with Rubber Soul), and only a few of the Stones' albums.

Beatles some days, Stones the others.

Right now, I'm leaning towards the Stones. They pulled off the greatest four album streak in the history of rock and roll: Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main Street. Not even the Beatles had a streak that hot.

This is one easy way to determine who to talk to in the future.... :D

Beatles, of course.

Maybe because you forgot "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out"? For a reason, perhaps? ;)

We are talking in their prime, right?

If so, I choose Beatles, because of diversity. Beatles can sound like Stones, but Stones can't sound like Beatles, and pull it off.

Even so, I love Exile on Main Street.

Beatles, which reminds me that I haven't listened to a Beatles' album for ...uhmmm... 20 years ?

Let me clarify (i.e. move the goalposts).

The greatest four studio album streak in the history of rock and roll.

"Ya-Ya's" is still a great live album. Paint it Black you Devils!
