Barrack Obama, liar.

That may be true but in this case a critical analysis of the entire system is not needed either. The question in this thread is not whether or not ACA is good but was the president lying.
Rather then a knee jerk reaction, maybe you should have read the post I replied to.

God hasnt this chestnut rotted by now!
First we have to repeat again, because the right wing shills here keep ignoring the FACT that "obama care" is a 100% republican free market solution that was conceived, designed and pushed for by the right, until OBama caved and gave the right EVERYTHING they wanted.

Q: Why would a "free market" require over over 10,000 pages of new regulations?
A: Because it's not really a free market.

Q: If the right got everything they wanted from Obamacare, why would they try to overturn it?
A: They wouldn't.

Your position is practically self-refuting.

Did you actually believe that he meant, "even if it completely violates the ACA's grandfather clause?"

I would have thought he meant "If you like your health plan you can keep it"
Not if we like your health plan you can keep it.

How childish. It's clear the insurance companies are doing all they can to sabotage the development of civilised health care in your dysfunctional country.

Your bickering over the sense of statements indicates you can't see the wood for the trees. You are not communicating seriously. You are not trying to solve the problem of the sick and poor with no resources, and the waste of your nation's energies and the corruption of your national quality of life.

It's sad to see such a geat nation going senile this way.

I think you are wrong that we are not trying to solve the problem of the sick and poor with no resources.

We have medicaid for the poor, we have medicare for the older people. In my state we have several programs such as healthy NY for the poor. In my county (Suffolk) we have assistance programs and health centers where people can obtain free treatment and well visits. I would bet Brookhaven Township (where I live) also has programs.
This is not to say there couldn't be more help.

(Anecdotal) I have many friends with low income and never has one been unable to get care (to the best of my knowledge).

Personally, no. I knew he was lying the moment he uttered those statements. I did not know how those lies would ultimately play out as they have. But that's just me. I can't speak for the millions upon millions who took his word at face value as they were repeatedly and deliberately lied to, over and over and over and over again.

That boat has sailed, and cannot explain current events.

Are you seriously trying to support Magyar's position that the right got everything they wanted in Obamacare? Seriously? It makes no sense. It makes not one god-damn lick of sense. That basically requires that EVERYBODY is doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing.

Everyone knows Magyar is out there, but I figured you had it together more than that.

It would be true of the right 20 or so years ago.

Seriously? It makes no sense. It makes not one god-damn lick of sense. That basically requires that EVERYBODY is doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing.
There are two possibilities (at least):
  1. Conservative values have changed in the last 20 years.
  2. Conservatives are being irrational.

I'll ask you the question. If a store sign "everything in the store is for sale," do you expect to be able to solicit the cashier for sex, successfully? Why or why not?

Here's something you fail to see, applecorped. The ACA passed and is not going to fail. Obama won two elections for POTUS. Republicans are becoming an insignificant part of the government. All you have done is declare your poutrage at all of this.
