a constantly shifting connection?
never heard that
Well...sort of.
See, I can plug into UCF's public network, and that will give me the university's IP. I don't know if its a security measure or just a requirement of maintaining such a large network, but they change their IP every few days or so. So I use that to my advantage![]()

A dynamic rather than static IP address. If the connection is unused for a period of time the Ip address is assigned to another user until the connection is used again. If one has a an ISP that uses dynamic addressing then every time you shut off the computer and let it sit like that for a little while the next time you turn it on and launch your e-mail or web program you will be assigned a different IP address from the ones registered by the ISP.
There's a computer section for this kind of disucssion, but I'd really prefer it not to read as much like a 'how to be a sock puppet' lesson.![]()
darn i keep geting OT, sorry
but the second part i did not understand.

eerm when they would have banned the IP range your IP was in, you had no chance to login with an IP from that range, you would have needed another IP. and i doubt that they bann a whole IP range.
Think again. IIRC, about a 1-2 years ago, they banned nearly all of Germany (or some central Europe country). Others here I am sure can back me up on that recollection.

Well, I'm feeling kinda guilty. I was being obnoxious on the LCF forum by posting links to my new blog. Nothing terrible except that my blog is full of links to JREF, SLC, and a bunch of Gravies sites.
After about 20-25 minutes I was called a "groupie" because im new to JREF so I guess that means I don't know enough to stick up for the vilified victims of 9/11. Also, since my blog is new and I don't profit from it, I'm not as smart as Dylan and Bermas. So for now I guess I'll work on getting my amount of posts up so I can earn the right to be a debunker. Maybe after I post 1000 threads I will have earned the right to know the "twoofer" secret about what happened to flight 93 and 77.
MAC address is not routed.
That is a good start Dick!
You are now an official card carrying NWO worshipping JREF'er!!!!
your router has a mac adress
So does almost every device attached to a network. Doesn't change the fact that it does not get routed and irrelevant for blocking at the IP level.
Here is a link for you:
