I'd lose respect for someone who considered my opinions on biology or skepticism to be as valuable as those of Dawkins.

I can't believe they'd even let someone join with that username, which seems like it would trigger half of them into a 3-day panic attack. Instead of FreeHugs1, shouldn't it be [TriggerWarning:ImpliedPhysicalContact]FreeHugsOnlyIfYouWantThem1?
 
It really shouldn't surprise me any more, but after the way Watson reacted to the Dear Muslima letter, how did they think Dawkins was going to see her?
It shouldn't be shocking that he doesn't want to share a platform with her, surely?
If the situation was reversed then she would do the same. She's said as much.

Wrong for him to do so, but not for her? More of the standard A+ hypocrisy, I guess.

Since she's further down the privilege ladder there will be no perception of hypocrisy...and he's old and white and male so it is his fault, of course.

No substantiation for this vague claim. Being a vegan, was "Sarah" disappointed that meat was served at some Big Atheism functions? Declaring herself a feminist, was she upset that MRA voices were not shouted down? We can only guess.

Damn, Willy! You had me up and doing the fist pump "Yes! Oh, Yes! Oh, Yes!" dance. It was SubMor. Man, I had visions of Setar as the replacement moderator, and was thinking what a little bit of heaven that would be. The self-appointed Politikal Kommisar. He'd bring a whole different version of entertainment to the job.

Oh, and they're still at their subterfuge. The visible posts are just for naughty lurkers and wannabes. Today they have 68 out of 120 posts in the open areas, but that's still 52 private posts. Check your privilege? Indeed!

Qwints, are you allowed in the inner sanctum? I'm pretty sure Apos is but I think he's given up on us after doing his factotum duties and carrying their lance onto the battlefield.

No need, it's clear that the existence of private threads there is no longer a secret. There's nothing sinister going on in those threads. Honestly the only thing I'd be embarrassed about anyone seeing is the mutual support stuff.

For the record, I'm extremely deferential to your critique of North American social justice even if I think what atheismplus does is valuable.

The concept of A+ is just fine. It's the feminist extremism they have adopted I have an issue with. That and conflating different opinions with every jerk on the Net who gets jollies from posting ignorant crap.
