If you want, but one would question the wisdom and tact of a committed SJW who proposes a giant supernatural penis as a stand in for God/FSM. Let's look at this from a feminist perspective and consider the emotional impact of non penis-havers being suggested to that they use the patriarchal tool of oppression as and ersatz deity.

In a perhaps related thread, Grimalkin is asking in their version of Forum Community, for members to think of a cool cuddly mascot for A+. The OP facetiously suggests a couple of derogatory possibilities.

Frankly, I'm sure we can do better. (But the suggestion of the Whiptail Lizard is inspirational. It's not actually all whiptails but some sub-species that reproduce through parthenogenesis, and I've never seen anything saying that they killed off their males, so that's just feminist b.s., I reckon. But the fact that any species - kamodo dragons and monitors will also reproduce parthenogenically if there are no males available - that does this is actually just cloning the mama and bringing no diversity into its gene pool is rather appropriate for A+, I reckon.)

I don't think so, but you could be right. It's certainly true that many, perhaps most, comments by new members are responded to with a request to better understand the community before continuing to post.
 
This thing about the Flying Spaghetti Monster has me thinking: If you think that the FSM represents a penis then go directly to the nearest crotch-doctor. You have some serious issues.

These folks need a doctor who specializes in a different part of the body - about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 feet up from the crotch.

I think the naked mole rat might be more appropriate as groups tend to have relatedness hovering in the 0.8-0.9 area so have perfected inbreeding as a survival strategy. (Having overcome the inbreeding threshold.)

If memes are indeed analogous to genes then they'll need to overcome their own inbreeding threshold...maybe that could be an "echo chamber threshold" in order to persist...like naked mole rats in insular colonies.

Well I checked, but there doesn't seem to be any blackjack or hookers at their conference. I guess that problem comes down to it being a thing that is only on the internet.

I wonder how well it'll do?

I've known that all cons are really parties. Even TAM. Which is fine. I'd enjoy one if it was cheap and convenient.

What are they gonna do. Have a big google plus?

I worry about how they'll enforce the code of conduct and how they'll deal with possible misogynists attempting to harass women there.
