Thank you, I don't know what went wrong. Sometimes I manage to get a link to open at a certain position on a page and sometimes I can only get it open the top of the page.
I'll go a searching for the correct way to do this.

I think you may have actually hit on the one positive thing about A+
+1
Well it's certainly taken more seriously in Canada if it's a human rights issue, like if the threats were because of race, religion or sexuality. Which university was it, do you recall?
You just missed out the colon
Surprisingly mood2 has not been banned for complaining about the moderation. Instead mood2 is no longer is allowed to post in the "Forum Matters" forum, which includes the "complaining about moderation" thread.
I think the mods (and other members of the secret forum) don't realise that you shouldn't really be making the rules of your forum up as you go.
Thanks Stout, but don't underestimate the comic drama value sie have contributed! As TCS remarked earlier, the "jokes are writing themselves." I still only wish I could make up some of the stuff they come up with.![]()

Wow. This Atheism Plus looks like a weird sect of hyper-entitled super-mega-ultra-liberals who reserve the right to become highly offended about everything.
Think I'll steer clear of that little clique, thank you. By the looks of things they're already in the process of imploding under the gravity of their own self-righteous indignation.

You did:
"Motion/Flowers allergy trigger alert."

Really, really funny stuff!
I mean, earlier it was claimed by the lynch mob that whoever told wind they were trashing her off the boards was putting lives at risk irl.![]()
Indeed it was, and the funniest part is when you scroll down and see the reaction to my attempt to insert a little reason into the discussion. I mean, earlier it was claimed by the lynch mob that whoever told wind they were trashing her off the boards was putting lives at risk irl.![]()
I'm expecting a body count from the fallout over this appalling breach of privacy soon. Think about how thoroughly those invited into the sooper sekret forum must have been vetted given the level of paranoia that exists there? I never even learned the secret hand shake.![]()
If getting an unsolicited PM could cause some there to take weeks to recover from, surely there must have been a few deaths owing to panic attacks learning their ++ safe hidden enclave had been breached, right?
Nobody told me anyone was trashing me! Swear to god! I PMed someone there that I'd grown to respect and trust and got a semi/non-answer confirmation that yes, there was a secret forum there, but I figured it out just by observing the freakishly stark in-group behavior. It's not something you see to such an extreme degree on forums without private subforums for chosen members.
Just to set the record straight. Again. There were no moles involved.
piegasm said:You were banned for continuing to insist that you were accused of intentionally doing something despite repeated attempts by multiple people to clarify to you that they didn't not think you had meant any harm but were trying to explain to you why they found your limerick problematic. In other words for willfully ignoring what people were telling you in favor of arguing against something that nobody was saying. I recommend you drop this if you don't want your ban to be permanent.

I guess they could go into my account, change my password, log in as me, and go through my PMs to see who accidentally (and it was an accident - the member who sent it totally forgot that the board was a secret, or forgot that I wasn't in there) sent me a link from the secret forum.
If they want to do that, have at it, I guess. (although that would be weird and creepy, but some of them seem to think all sorts of unconventional rules and behaviors are normal, so you never know.) There was nothing nefarious on my end or the end of the person who accidentally sent it, tho.
Ha ha oh wow.
Banned for ignoring counter-arguments and erecting strawmen. Such a policy implemented here would probably cut active membership in half.
What's funny is that there's at least on example of a forum which actually does a reasonable job of applying such a policy.
While I get no moles involved, it seems like an accidental reveal.
