Wow, that's one hell of a racist cartoon.

Maybe I should have written:
Atheists:
"Ain't nothin' that'll please us,
Like a crispy Baby Jesus!"
Wow, that's one hell of a racist cartoon.
I think in this case, I'll remain delightfully ignorant. The whole purpose of all this multisyllabic verbiage is to puff up that sense of self satisfaction of understanding "it" while us poor, sterile materialists just don't get "it".
When you get "it" you will be able to discuss the fine points of the Emperors New Clothes without batting an eye.
That looks more to be 'how ignorance assumes prayer works according to a particular religion.'
Not sure it is strictly an atheist thing. Seems more like an anti-theist thing or more specifically an anti-Christian thing.
Then how does prayer work?
Then how does prayer work?
While it's certainly not representative of all Christians, it is certainly representative of at least some of them. The idea that the more people we get praying for something, the more likely God is to listen to us (and therefore the corollarythat the fewer people are praying for something, the less likely God is to listen). Just look at conservative Christian leaders in the U.S., who frequently emphasize that the number of people who are praying is of critical importance, and who will blame lack of answered prayer on insufficient prayers. That looks more to be 'how ignorance assumes prayer works according to a particular religion.'

Simple. Humans release prayertron particles when praying. The more faith a human places in a prayer, the more the human believes in the power of the prayer, the higher will be the level of prayertrons emission; the relationship is exponential. That's why the prayers of hundreds or thousands of humans with weak faith may fail while a child's prayer may be heard. Then how does prayer work?

God and His Angels collect prayertrons and then grant their blessings for humans if the prayertrons level is adequate and compatible with what's being asked.
Oh, don't forget to send me money to receive more pearls of spiritual wisdom explaining how the universe works. Typing and being one with the Universe are expensive activities.
