Truthfully, I couldn't find a good place on this forum to put that quote. So why not nominate it? Let's put it this way. If the commenter actually meant the Strategic Defense Initiative (one of the many terms for the actual set of programs), he wouldn't have used the one coined by the media to heap derision on the idea, its sponsors, and the enormous budget which yielded basically nothing.

That was from parky's "joke thread" about the 747 and F16s overflying NYC. It even attracted attention from the mods who thought nobody would connect the "photo-op" with an insane nutbar CT. They were about to censure it until I posted that.
 
Yes, that was good. I will try to get the Stundie Finals for April up in the next day unless my computer decides to be angry about switching anti-virus programs.....which it has been known to do.
