Application Proposal - Mental Telepathy

Sent a letter to Skeptics for there challenge. Should only need there affidavit. I'm sure you'll hear about there result.

Dargo, have you considered Dumb All Over's nice offer and sent him a scan of your affidavit?
If not, would you care to explain why, please?

Does JREF do any testing in Australia? Will we have to fly to the USA?

Hey, it's a guaranteed million dollars if you get a 100% accuracy result with no cheating. If you're short on cash at the moment, just buy one-way tickets - you will have more than enough to pay your way back to Austrailia (or anywhere else you would like to go) when you win the prize.

You might be thankful for the preliminary test, though. It can be done locally and will save you some travel expense if your abilities are not what you believe them to be.

Please treat Squishua's comment with a proper dose of light-heartedness. As I read the FAQ JREF will do everthing reasonably in their power to provide for local testing.

I, of course, remain steadfast in my offer for remote testing. Others have also made various offers. I believe the OP needs to make a more definitive effort--or go away. (BTW, I always remain unreasonably optimistic that some of those with whom we correspond here go away better educated but too modest to admit their enlightment to the whole forum.)

Hopefully,
Gulliver

It appears that the original poster has, indeed, gone away.

Lets think about this. Some stupid school kid wants to have fun, so he posts his fantasy on this site. People take him seriously and ask for something to back it up. He knows he cannot deliver. This is no longer fun so he goes away.

Tip: If anyone is thinking about doing something similar this is not the board to do it in. There are plenty of other boards where you will have friends to help you. In here you are on your own, against people who have done it all before.

Educating The Right People

I offer another, more optimistic, scenario. Imagine that the OP were uneducated about scientific approaches, logical agruments, statistics, or a host of other ideas that causes him or her to believe something extraordinary. I relish the opportunity to engage in a two-way Forum thread to help. I remain appreciative too that the human ego makes it so very difficult to return here after enlightenment to admit the original error, especially when it points to a health problem.

Let's all hope, against the odds and the evidence, that in a small number of cases, we've helped those in need and just don't know it.

I'm reminded that as a small child I thought the moon was following me on long car trips at night. Much later, in high school physics class, I was silly enough to admit my error during the instructor's lecture on optics. I had hoped to share my enlightenment but was only greeted with my classmate's jeers. Perhaps, we can be better educators if we accept ignorance and emotions and tolerate some immaturity without resorting to any cruelty ourselves.

Optimistically,
Gulliver

We could both be right. Let us hope that whoever it is that came here has gone away a better person. As you say it would be great if we could find out what happens to these people, but that is our fantasy. The difference between us and certain other people is that we know the difference between a fantasy and reality.

I'm sure the fellow was kidding (you know, poking at the skeptics for fun), though I admit there is a possibility he is delusional.

I wonder if this friend of his also thinks they carry on these telepathic conversations? Funny that he was not a contributer to the thread as well, as he must have been telepathically aware of the resistance his Mr. Dargo was encountering here. ;)

I am sure we would have heard about it if the prize had been won. Wait a minute that may be the real reason nothing much has happened for over a year in that section of the forum???

I do have a signed affidavit. Is it possible to post pictures on here.
