Apple Day festivities....the photographic proof!

I wish I hadn't missed this one...been busy being a responsible adult and hadn't been on the boards for awhile...looks like everone had a great time.

Actually everything else in the place is really, really cool. Huge cliffs with wolves standing watch, frozen winter tree limbs, giant beaded... decorative... things... , lots of really cool waterfalls, a swanky martini bar on top of an onyx mountain, under a planetarium. Everything except for the giant sperm-tree made of blown glass. That thing is really weird.
I don't actually gamble myself. I go there with visiting relatives/friends, to buy Godiva chocolate and to the restaurants. Once in a while for a show too.
The other casino (Foxwoods) is entirely hideous. Since I don't gamble, I never go there for anything.
 
I tried to get a picture of Hobbs peeking out from under her blanket, but I was distracted by the chance to see soda foaming explosively. I am easily distracted.
On that note:
I think I've thought up a way to get the lid on with the mentos inside, so they can be inroduced to the soda with the lid already on. (with a small hole in the lid, like Jeff did.)
I'm going to experiment with my Mom. She's clever, so if my idea doesn't quite work she can help me refine it.
 
I gather that Truthseeker was there, but managed to avoid her image appearing here.

Yes, Larry is a very good catch, at least until Johnny Depp comes to his senses.

Unfortunately, I couldn't be there. I just sent cake :)

We celebrated his birthday last weekend in Montreal.
 
Back Zep! As you can see, not only is he good looking, but he is good with children (Boo junior loved being asked to help blow out the candles).

The only reason Larry's friends find Truthseeker acceptable for such a paragon as Larry is that she is good looking, sweet, smart, caring, dedicated to her very important and worthy work, and just plain old as nice a person as Larry!

Did I mention she is really cute and wicked funny too?

Other than that whole Canadian thing, she's perfect!

Hey, I want private photos of your Halloween celebrations ok? Yes, I remember those photos! And still smile!

Btw, whereas Canadians may be just neighbours to you Yanks, they are cousins to us Aussies - practically family! So no dissing them, OK? Or I'll send a stealth wombat to sort you all out. ;)

It was such great fun. Thanks to everyone. Yes I sorely missed Truth not being there. She is everything Kitty said and so much more. I won't turn this into a sickly sweet love note although I easily could.

Thanks Zep, Truth speaks highly of you too.

And yes, there is a hit out on Johnny Depp.
 
Finally have a few moments to sit down and look through the thread....

I need to say a BIG Thank You to Nova, kitty, Pool Boy, Kitten, Kitten2, Rebecca, Larry and Merc for all you did in making the day so wonderful. The kids had a great time and Sara says it was the best vacation EVER! Everybody was so generous and went out of their way to make sure the kids enjoyed themselves.

Nova, thank you for the apples! Everybody at work wanted to know where the 'Applefest' was that I went to that had such great activities like a William Tell contest and bumper kayaks.;)

But he comes with kids and stuff, Larry's are already "done" and seem quite nice.

Boo, your kids made the party. Pool Boy says next party he will set up a room just for Issac with all his favorite stuff. Heck we are already looking in the cheap bin at Wal Mart for videos!

Plus, you brought coffee!!!!

Hmmm...does Snopes do Depp? The big rumour around here is that he bought a house in our town, either for himself or for his mother, depending on the rumour.
