Merged Apollo "hoax" discussion - continuation thread

So if a country decides to allow its citizens to travel to an African country to treat ebola victims and prevent further deaths should those doctors and other good people be forever denied a chance to return home? Surely you can't be that heartless.

Ranb

Or that stupid. If Ebola gets totally out of control in Africa, all the travel restrictions in the world will not keep it from getting to the US bigtime.

I know this has been pointed out in the past, but the coming next few days represent the perfect opportunity (to either side).

China launched a lunar orbiter this morning. True, it's only going to do half-an-orbit and return, but with the known Chinese desire to take claim for being the first in everything and the current geo-political standings of the nations in question, do Hoaxers actually think that the Chinese would suppress footage, if they could get it, showing no US mission debris where the Bad Americans claim it is.

I'm sure Anders has an answer ("I don't think they launched anything"), but assuming there are some Hoaxers left with a modicum of intelligence, wouldn't this (or the next or the next after that) Chinese mission tend to quash this nonsense for good? China would LOVE to do the big reveal and has zero reason to support the supposed big lie.

Not if the CT is 'maxi' believer, ie the entire world is all run by the same group. The base line for many CT'ers is that they are right and whatever happens is morphed into support of their CT or proof of suppression of their CT. You could take some CTs to the Moon and they still wouldn't believe it.

Hans is it not fact there are remnats of space craft on the far side of the moon and buildings too.

Buildings! You are as misled and as incorrect as your brother (even more so; I don't think Patrick ever claimed there were "buildings" on the moon).

1. Theoretically yes but I think anyone who is actually intelligent and honest should have been convinced long ago.

2. Anyone who believes that the Soviets had a reason to support the Moonhoax, will believe that the Chinese have as well.

Factually incorrect.
I'm sure you are right but there was something about not allowing him to go in the 1st place that sticks in my mind, Unfortunately I put "the moon books " as I call them in storage for awhile, I'm sure I can find out on the inter net!

I'm willing to bet my life that there are no spacecraft remnats on the moon.

On behalf of all other laymen posting here, please stop putting the "laym" in "layman". Thanks in advance.

Huh? You may want to rephrase that.

This made me laugh :)

ETA: Never mind - I see what you did (finally).

I knew I could count on you.;)

I do however want to rephrase this:

On behalf all other laymen posting here, please stop putting the "laym" in "layman". Thanks in advance.

to this

Well lots of spacecraft - intentionally and un-intentionally have smashed into the Moon not to mention all the robots that landed safely - and at least seven (+) that part of them took off again.

If you mean to suggest Frank Borman was sick before launch, you are incorrect. There were no symptoms; the flight surgeons perform a final physical examination as part of launch preparations. His short-term distress was attributed to a reaction to Seconal, a sleep aid to which Borman had a previously-tested sensitivity, and which he took on the mission. There was no reason at launch not to allow Frank Borman to command the mission.
