There's no such thing as "the new towers" so stop asserting he has any obligation to build them.

There's no such thing as "the new towers" so stop asserting he has any obligation to build them.
that is a lie. there is going to be a new tower 1,2,3,4,5 and there is already tower 7.
Silverstein owns the new 2,3,4, and 5. He already built 7.
how much is it going to cost him to build 2,3,4, and 5? how much will his final losses be from the original WTC?
oh..and guess what: Silverstein still owes for the mortgages for the original WTC. cool huh?
c) LS received 4.55 billion to cover his "losses" at the WTC. As for rebuilding 4WTC, he has no interest in investing any of his own money, which includes the insurance proceeds.
This has all been documented in the links I've posted to in this thread. Please read them so you stop saying things that have no bearing on reality.
read you own source, the New York time: Agreement that Silverstein has to buold three towers from insurance he gets for WTC.
Do you dispute that?
how much is it going to cost Silverstein to build WTC 2,3, 4, and 5?
they are being built, btw. I saw them being built on Monday.
once all of Silverstein's building costs are done, how will they compare to the $4.3 billion he got in insurance money?

Construction
As of May 2010[update], progress on the construction of the redesigned site is as follows:[63][64][65][66][67]
- 1 World Trade Center – Construction began in April 2006; two years later, tower-foundation steel columns, concrete, and rebar had been installed. In 2006, the Port Authority took over from Silverstein Properties as the project's developer. Tishman Construction Corporation is the construction manager.[68] The estimated completion date is 2013.
- 2 World Trade Center – Groundbreaking in July 2008.[69]
- 3 World Trade Center – Groundbreaking in March 2008. In April 2008, excavation and preparations for foundation work took place.[70]
- 4 World Trade Center – Construction began in 2008.[71][72][73][74]
- 5 World Trade Center – Construction began on January 1, 2009.[75] The Port Authority acts as the building's developer.[76]
- 7 World Trade Center – Off of Port Authority land, the tower opened on May 23, 2006 and achieved LEED gold status.[77]
Now, RedIbis.....once all of Silverstein's building costs are done, how will they compare to the $4.3 billion he got in insurance money?
Are you saying the insurance companies have already paid out ahead of any start of building the insured asset? I suppose they just assume Larry will do the "right thing". Can real people get this kind of insurance? In my world they pay as aspects of a project are completed. At a certain point I'll stop responding to your posts if you continue to avoid the articles I've linked to.
a) You can't own a bldg that hasn't, nor does it appear will ever be built. That would be 2,3, and 5, which Silverstein has scrapped plans for since he can't find enough tenants for WTC 7 and the PA can't fill 1WTC.

b) Had you read the articles I posted, you'd know that the mortgage and the rebuilding for WTC 7 was paid for by the initial insurance payout.

I'm not saying it, the frikkin' articles are! 4.55 billion.
You may have to forgive me but, I don't remember any links saying they actually have "cut checks". I know they say "awarded" or that sort of thing.I'm not saying it, the frikkin' articles are! 4.55 billion.
well, then you are dead wrong. WTC 2,3,4, and 5 are being rebuilt.
two buildings are being built as we speak, the other two already had their groundbreakings.
oh..and guess what? I saw WTC 4 with my own eyes. Its being rebuilt. I got pics to prove it.

oh look, Tower 5 is being built after all.

Well, that's the realm of semantics. If you think the courts awarded LS a combined 4.55 billion and he hasn't received it yet and has not sued everyone within striking distance, then there's nothing that will convince you that he has indeed received this money.
Receiving these funds would explain how he paid off and rebuilt WTC 7 and put 1B toward 1WTC, which I documented earlier in the thread.

Oh boy. Did you read in your link where it said that the PA had assumed responsibility for the rebuilding of 5?
