Anti-semitism hits record high in UK

Do you ever criticize the Palestinians? Do you think there's anything the Palestinians could do to end the conflict?

Stop giving Israel excuses by continuing to chuck their over-sized but generally ineffective firecrackers over the border. Why it should be up to them to break the cycle of violence is another question. Maybe they should toss a coin.

But HAMAS has been proclaimed a "revolutionary anti imperailist orgranization" by a lot of the Left, and that makes them beyond criticism.

I will happily re-list the rules and why they were followed if someone is that curious

A) By illegally invading and holding onto territory of what should be another soverign state Israel has broken the rules of war as recognised in international treaties and conventions.
B) Currently Israel aren't in a war, therefore what they do in Occupied Palestine is not subject to wartime law, but civilian law. In other words what they do now is illegal under the properly applicable rules.

One question are you a fundie christian, or just anti islam?

S...(because the Israeli state is claimed by Zionists to be the state of Jews and only of Jews)...

Also as claimed by the Basic Law of Israel*, let us not forget.

*What they have passing for a constitution in that country, because there is no point having a constitution according to Israeli legislators, while any of those stinking muslims are still around.

Giz, some people forget history.
Anti-Semitism in the UK in the 19th century was alive and well.
What passes for anti-semitism today is chicken feces.

No record has been set.

And the early part of the 20th century well into the 30s, indeed I would say it took the horror of the Holocaust to dampen anti-Semitism in the UK.

What cycle? The Palestinians could have peace at any time, they just have to stop attacking Israel. Recognize it and they'd have their own state, as much as that's possible with 2 insane political parties fighting over control of it.

Yes I do; and in doing so I don't expect to be accused of being Islamophobic, or an anti-Arab racist, and I am not so accused.

Basically, the Palestinians here are the injured party, however. They are the objects of invasion and dispossession, and their aggressors justify themselves by saying, our people have been the victims of genocide. Problem is, the Palestinians are paying the price, not for crimes committed by Palestinians against Jews, but for crimes committed by Europeans against Jews. They are made to pay not because they're guilty, but because they're weak.
They were victimized by immigration?

When did this happen? Do you have a cite?

That's not the reasoning, and it does your case no good at all to suggest that it is. The reasoning is that a constitution cannot be negotiated while a state of conflict still exists. Which, of course, it always will.

You are not being serious. That is a dishonest remark.
It's not dishonest. Jews immigrated and bought land. Starting in the late 1800s.

Immigration by a group with the explicit intent of forming their own nation-state on the territory they were immigrating to.
So? It was land claimed by another people that were doing the same damned thing. Then after a big war yet another country owned it, perhaps one you live in. Then after yet another big war the whole area was divided up into a bunch of different countries, Jews given the tiniest slice of all. For some reason it's only the Jewish country that is seen as illegitimate, and of course that has nothing at all to do with anti-Semitism, nosiree. It's just anti-Zionism, or anti-imperialism, but really (wink wink) nothing to do with anti-Semitism!

Describing this as simply immigration is so ridiculous even you must realise it.
It was simply immigration, it certainly wasn't an invasion.

That's gibberish. Try to concoct something worth responding to.

Because that the current Left Wing Dogma.
You would consider me to be left wing. I do not consider that to be true. Nobody that I consider to be politically similar to me would consider that to be true. Therefore your statement is wrong in every possible way.

I think the Amnesty International report described here is correct. You don't. You support attacks on civilians if Israel carries them out, but denounce them if committed by Hamas.
Do you think there's anything the Palestinians could do to end the conflict?
Not really, except all leave their lands and allow them to be occupied by Zionist settlers, and annexed by Israel. Then they might be permitted to do menial work on them as day labourers.

They are in the position of the native Irish in the days of the Plantations.

Neither Netanyahu nor his Christian Evangelical backers, nor the settlers, want peace. They want a pure Jewish state. The Zionist Christian fundies want Armageddon, as well. If you want that, ultra right Zionism is a pretty good bet for delivering it too.
