Another elitist bubblehead for McCain

Wow. Just wow. Both sides seem to be in an contest to who can use the most heated rhetoric in this election.
 
Let's just say thate are a lot of old soldiers out here totally enraged that Sonny Fuzz McCain and his spoiled brat have the chutzpah to say that Obama is out of touch with real people.
 
Looking in from the outside it seems to me that Leftysergeant has the truth on his side.

Here's truth for you. The McCains are out of touch with the needs of military families who did not have everything handed to them whether they earned it or not based on their luck in the sperm lottery. John McCain did not make it on his own merits and neither did his snotty daughter.

That separates them from at least 90% of military families these days.

Care to tell me what her aristocratic father has done to improve the lot of soldiers who get put out of the Army after getting hit with an IED? Can you tell me what he has done to correct the practice of calling odd behavior after being hit by anm IED a "pre-existing personality disorder?"

I do not recall hearing McCain saying anything disparaging of the worste Secretary of Defense we have had in my life time, so I have to wonder whether his military experience is worth the time to study. He hasn't shown that he learned anything about the morale factor in determining the feasibility of winning a war.

Personally or generally???? I don't think anyone can really claim any personal responsibility for trying to improve the lot of solders hit with IEDs other than the army. Or do you spend all your time in the politics forum pontificating?

In case you missed it, he's a Senator. What has he done as a Senator for the veteran's other than to try to hide them in the masses by trying to give them a voucher for private health care?

Did he sign onto Obama's bill to improve the care for convalescing soldiers at places like Walter Reed? Did he even admit that Walter Reed was a problem?

If he is in touch with the problems of ordinary military families, I sure would like to know what he has done about it.

This may seem uncalled for, and if mods want to censure me I understand, but seriously, what about your own freaking judgement. You spend hours and hours calling people you don't know all sorts of names. You use rather sexist and derogatory language to describe women who's only sin is that thye are supporting a family member running for office. Really, try working on your own judgement and decision making before you post.

That's why I'm loving this election so much. I really don't have a horse in the race, so laughing at the vitriolic rhetoric on both sides has never been easier. :newlol

The Army started working on it after the few liberals left in the media got on their case about it. Obama stepped up to the plate to make sure they couldn't let the project die with public attention. What did the old coot do about it?

If you runn for office at least partly on your status as a disabled veteran, other veterans kind of have a right to think that you are going to do something to make sure that other disabled veterans get the care they deserve.

McCain has, in that regard, broken faith with his borthers. Maybe his idiot daughter is unaware of that fact, but that makes her banalities no less totlerable. She has no idea what real soldiers born into less privileged status have to endure, or what their families lose when the soldiers come home broken.

I find it amacing the way american politicians praise their soldiers bravery and patriotism at every opportunity.
Maybe it is to compensate for cutting benefits and medical care.

It does make her sound rather offensive, claiming to be sooo in touch with reality.

There is one little kink in your argument. It's just wrong. Unless we are talking about two separate issues. The one Im talking about has been openly described as the army begging people to work on that.
