Merged Andrew Breitbart has died

Excellent topic and thread for liberals to show their true colors on, apparently. But is not just local posters on JREF.

From the excellent blog www.Instatpundit.com

Twitter Hate: The Left’s Breitbart Memorial. Retweet all the nasty stuff they say — it’s what Andrew would have wanted. He liked to expose these people for who they were, rather than who they pretended to be. He continues to do that even in death.

And reader Jonathan Rubinstein writes: “The outpouring of ghoulish and sophmoric hatred at the death of Andrew Breitbart is a warning to us all that the remaking of America is not a conversation over coffee in the late afternoon. The real struggles that are ahead have hardly begun. Politics is ruthless and the failed political class will not go quietly. The disgusting comments are a tribute to the decline not of civility — there has never been much in America — but the complete disintegration of self-respect. We will engage, we will remake America, we will miss Breitbart but there will be many more joining the struggle.”
Oh, please.

Theft is not speech. Murder is not speech. Vandalism is not speech. Drug use is not speech.
The idea that people cannot be harmed by speech is nonsense. It was Manson's idea that people die. He could only harm them by either killing them himself or, using speech, get someone else to harm them. Murder might not be speech but in some instances speech is requisite for someone like Manson to have someone murdered. Manson couldn't use the "it was only speech" defense.

And he did that how? Speech? Not sure why this has to be like pulling teeth. Do you really not get the point?

What, that Breitbart's speech was somehow comparable to Manson's? It's dog-laughable.

:dl:

Andrew Breitbart Dead. Who here is glad?

I suspect there are some here who may not be saddened to hear of his passing. I bet there are some who are glad. Will anyone come out and actually say so? Inquiring minds want to ....meh.

Didn't say it was.

  • Claim: Speech harms people.
  • Counter claim: Speech can't harm people, for instance, speech is NOT murder.
  • Proposition: Manson caused people to die through speech.
I'm not comparing Breitbart's speech with Mansons. I'm falsifying a claim.

To paraphrase my thoughts from the other site. Some people do active evil, Bbheart was very much one of them. Ding dong the bitch is dead.

We all die. Some of us do nothing to make others have any reason to care. Some of us do things foul enough to make others happy (or, at least not unhappy) on their passing.

Sorry, MHaze, but Breitbart made a rather large bed. He's more than welcome lie in it.

That said, I see no point in degrading the man. Noting factually what he did is one thing. Making stuff up is another matter.

Unlike Breitbart.

Next time there's a bunch of screaming and whining from the left about "be decent" I'll remember these people here and what they said.

I won't. Life's too short. Let them get it out. Otherwise they may have a massive heart attack from keeping it all inside.
