Been there, done that. Multiple times. How much does the novel you're pushing cost again? LOL

So which parts are wrong?

1. Are you 50?
2. Have you been in Amway for 15+ years?
3. Have you bought a ton of tools cheap?

Let's just start with those eh?

See, we can get answers! Maybe the key is to do it twenty questions style and just go for yes/no questions.

Or maybe it was a goodwill gesture based on your commitment to call in today.

Poor Texie!

Just what am I wrong about? Let's do the list!

1. You are 50+ years old. Not wrong.
2. You have been in Amway Global, nee Quixtar, nee Amway for 16+ years. Not wrong.
3. You do have over 10,000 'valuable' tools in your house that you amassed to create your own 'tool system.' Not wrong.
4. A reasonable estimate is $35K down the drain in your 12 year in Quixtar/Amway that it took you to figure out that you were being scammed. Not wrong.
5. You do believe that a new IBO who does nothing but buy 100PV ($300) worth of Amway goods and gets a rebate "bonus" check for about $9 makes a $9 profit. Not wrong.

It seems quite disengenuous to claim to want to Texpose people to the 'facts' while you hide others about yourself and your motives.

Heaven forbid old Texie finds out that any of you are black or Jewish. For a little taste of Tex in rare form, Google "Tex Amway Doug Wead Jew". Enjoy!

Call Tex on his stupid conference call and feed his ego. Be warned!

ETA - As proven above, Tex is quick to say 'half-truths' and 'lies' which are proven neither. Any interaction with Tex over the phone will without a doubt be misrepresented on his part, to his advantage. Reality and Tex are not close friends, to say the least.

How can anyone still be associated with an organisation if the above is true? It reminds me more of a gambling addict, "my luck will change" type of scenario.

Incredibly sad scenario.

About the "Jew boy" comment, I've checked.

This is our "Tex2":

Hey David “jew-boy” Black, are you going to respond, or hide your head in the sand?

Just remember, kike, that if it weren’t for the U.S...

Go back to sleep, you make FAR more sense in that state, you stupid kike.

I’m sure some of your jew-boy friends got ripped off as well...

However, Tex was aiming his comments at someone who kept calling him a "hillbilly" and insulting him, and not at Jews in general. He said to the same guy here (noting he is against capital punishment):

I am concerned about the rights of the wrongly accused, such as the European Jews prior to and during WWII. Do you think at least some of them committed prior crimes? Is this alone an acceptable excuse to put them in a gas chamber, or shot down in groups in front of their earthen mass graves? This is what YOUR thinking leads to...

...I don't give a rip that you're Jewish. I don't even consider you Jewish...

Neither are exactly the words of a died-in-the-wool Jew-hater.

I'm willing to give Tex the benefit of the doubt on this one, since he seems to be calling a "kike" and a "jew-boy" only one particular individual, who keeps calling him names, too.

I just finished my call with Newton. I think he will tell you I am not the kind of person pcjimmie (porkchopjim) would like you to think I am. If anyone else would like to discuss the facts, you should know my conference call and Skype contact information. If not, ask.

Well, Tex, this man claims you were in Amway for 15 years and never made any money, as the most distributors you ever had was 10, and that retail sales were negligible.

Is this true or not? I tend to believe him, since that would explain your secrecy about how much you make in Amway or how many customers you've got.

Is this true?

Oh, I think all of us DO know, Tex. I was just making sure -- giving you a chance to refute what I was 99% sure is true already.

Ok, so I finally drove home. I spent about 90 mins on the phone with Tex as I headed up to Canada. He definitely comes across as sane and lucid on the phone. He also didn't try to recruit me.

He wants everyone who knows anything to contact the FTC as well as the FBI or anyone else willing to listen about the tool scam. He believes that with many people complaining that the government might eventually take action on that issue.

His general theory is that the tool scam is a bait and switch and should be prosecuted as such. He also thinks that ripping people off like that is not a good way to build a solid business and that this is the cause of slow growth and or regression in some peoples businesses. He's not anti-tool. He's just anti-tool scam/profit. In fact he sees value in the tools which is why he has bought a lot of them on ebay.

Now I happen to agree with him that the tools are a serious problem and a huge scam. However, he still asserts that the base level business is a good solid way for many people to make money. This is where we part ways because I think the tools scam started because the core business was hard to build and unprofitable. Without the tool income the business really doesn't have anything to recommend it IMHO.

I told him if he just explained here what he told me on the phone that people would probably treat him with more respect instead of the weird short answers. I'm guessing he just types slow or something.

Anyway, he ironically brought up stockholm syndrome in reference to Icerat. Personally I think tex has a touch of it too as he just won't let Amway go and move onto something more profitable. He's made it his personal mission to bring down the tools scam before he moves on with his life.

Anyway train of thought of what I remember at almost 3am here....

You know I didn't really ask him about the size of his business. We talked tools. I doubt he has much of a business though otherwise he would have pimped it I'm sure. I think he has a blank spot in his brain where he can't let go of Amway. Instead he thinks he can single handedly clean it up. It's a noble enough goal but I think he clings to it due to the programming of the tapes. Remember anyone who quits is a loser, even if they know it's a scam. So he can't let go and move on to something else. Since he knows it's a scam building it isn't the best idea. So instead he hangs around and can pretend it's a virtue because he's trying to clean up the business. This way he has a reason to continue to be involved (as programmed by the tapes). It's kind of a twisted version of the programming they use that he is able to come to terms with via this quest but he' still unable to completely break free. It shows how powerful at bending wills these "tools" or cult programming tapes are. He knows they are a scam but still thinks the content is useful and worthy. This is why I call it brainwashing btw. It's not literally some sort of CIA secret. It's just very convincing talented speakers luring you into a well oiled cult machine. These people are rich and very smooth taking. For someone who's looking for the shortcut to the good life these tapes deliver a sermon that can be very persuasive.

You have been warned people!

There's no Stockholm Syndrome, no programming, the tool scam is just plain unethical, immoral, and illegal. It has much more to do with how I was raised than the tapes I've listened to.
